The two year MBA Program of IBS is designed to give graduates exposure to management skills needed for the creation of specialists who can integrate across functional areas in a dynamic organization.

The Program provides a broad perspective of all areas of management. The courses offered in the program are practice oriented with emphasis placed on application of principles, tools and concepts to meet challenges and problems faced in today’s organizations

Eligibility Criteria

2 year Management Program
- Graduation (any discipline) with 50% and above marks with medium of instruction as English.
- All applicants should have completed a minimum of 15 years of education (on 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis).
- Candidates not meeting the eligibility criteria of English medium in graduation have to submit the TOEFL/ NELT/ IELTS score by May 31, 2026.
- Applicants in their final year bachelor's degree course are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their graduation requirements (including practical examinations / viva / assignments) before May 31, 2026. The admission will remain provisional until they produce marks sheets and degree certificates establishing their eligibility. The last date for submission of proof of graduation is November 01, 2026.
- Eligibility criteria will be checked from August, 2026 onwards. Hence, the onus of ensuring that they satisfy the eligibility criteria rests solely with the candidates.

Admission Details

IBSAT 2025

IBSAT is an online aptitude test conducted by The ICFAI Foundation For Higher Education (a deemed to be a University under Section 3 of UGC act 1956), for students seeking admission to the MBA / PhD programs of IBS Bengaluru and IBS Hyderabad.

IBSAT is a computer-based test (CBT) that consists of multiple-choice questions. IBSAT is of 2 hours duration and is aimed at testing the applicant's ability in quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.

GMAT^TM/ NMAT by GMAC^TM/CAT/XAT scores (from 2023 onwards) are also accepted in place of IBSAT 2025. Candidates with GMAT^TM, NMAT by GMAC^TM CAT and XAT scores are exempted from IBSAT 2025.

IBS Admissions are open through CAT/NMAT by GMAC™/XAT/GMAT™ scores only.
Last Date 2nd Week of December 2025.

The ICFAI University, Dehradun, The ICFAI University, Jaipur and The Icfaian Foundation accept IBSAT 2025 / GMAT^TM/ NMAT by GMAC^TM/CAT/XAT scores (from 2023 onwards) for admission to the following programs:

MBA program offered by IBS Dehradun and IBS Jaipur.
PGPM (Post Graduate Program in Management) program offered by IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Kolkata, IBS Mumbai and IBS Pune.

Selection Process

Candidates who have qualified based on IBSAT 2025/ GMAT^TM /NMAT by GMAC^TM/CAT/XAT score are called for the selection process.
This process is scheduled to take place from February 2026, at the IBS Hyderabad campus in Hyderabad.
The selection process comprises of Micro Presentation and Personal Interview.

The Micro-Presentation component aims to provide a focused assessment of a candidate's communication and presentation skills, along with their ability to think and organize thoughts quickly.

IBSAT Bulletin can be purchased through one of the following methods by payment of Rs 1800.

Admission decision

The final selection is based on past academic record and performance of the candidates in Micro Presentation and Personal Interview.

College Infrastructure

The best thing about the college is the environment. The infrastructure is very convenient and suitable for the students. There’s sports facilities, libraries, IT lab , canteens, and the lecture theatre is built to fit many students and each one can focus on the professor very easily.

College Infrastructure

IBS hyderabad has one of the best infrastructures among private b-school, with a huge lush green campus, well-hostels, modern classrooms, a library with vast resources, wifi facilities and dedicated spaces for sports.

College Infrastructure

From the moment I arrived at IBS Hyderabad, the sheer size of the 90-acre campus caught my attention. The buildings are modern, and the classrooms are generally well-equipped with projectors and sound systems. There’s also a robust Wi-Fi network that makes online research and group projects more convenient. The library—spanning multiple floors—offers an extensive collection of books, journals, and databases, which I find very helpful for case studies and assignments. However, because the campus is quite large, getting from one corner to another can be time-consuming, and some facilities (like certain hostel blocks) could use more regular maintenance
