Aspiring candidates can apply for admission to UGC approved online degree courses offered by Anna University online. They need to visit the university website, and click on the "Admission" menu; then select the sub-menu named "New Registration". They need to complete the registration process by filling in all the required details and clicking on the “Create my new account” button. They will receive an email to their registered email id with the verification link. They are required to verify and activate their accounts by clicking on the verification link.

Once verified, applicants need to sign in and go to the "Admission" menu and select "Apply Online''; an Application Dashboard will open. Start filling in the application form by clicking "Apply Here" and then upload the required documents in applicable format and size. After filling in all the fields, proceed to the next step.

Exam Details for UGC approved Online Degree Courses in Anna University, Chennai

Anna University conducts continuous or formative assessment and end-semester examinations. Continuous assessments carry 25% weightage while end-semester exams hold 75% weightage. The exams are conducted completely in the online mode under the supervision of the Office of the Controller of Examinations (COE), Anna University.

Students will be awarded marks for the continuous assessment based on their performance and engagement in either objective or subjective forms of assessments. As per UGC guidelines, students must have a minimum participation of 75% in all the activities of the online programme prior to the end semester examination.
