Seat allotment of Institute depends on factors like no. of seats available, category of student, home state of student, etc .You haven't mentioned your category. Assuming you belong to General category and your AIR is 20312. IIIT Trichy is a newly established IIIT. As of Now , there is no Placement stats of IIIT Trichy available as it's first batch will go to placement in 2021. I suggest you to go for NIT Patna because it is one of oldest NITs and also has good placement records.
