National Institute of Technology Patna offers admission to its courses based on the marks scored in the entrance examination. if you scored 88.5 percentile but you belong from the general category, then it will be tough to get NIT Patna. However, if you belong to reserved category like the ST, then you have a chance to get through.

If you want only NIT Patna and you belong to other categories, then I suggest that you sit for the second attempt in the April session to imrpve your score and increase your chances.

According to my analysis, earning a degree from any engineering college is adequate if you are a student of computer science or engineering because you may compete on your own in a variety of coding competitions, and if you succeed, top corporations will undoubtedly want to hire you. CSE is all about practising, competing in events at various levels, and improving your CSE-related talents. Rankings from IIT-PATNA and NIT-WARANGAL are hardly distinguishable. They're sufficiently near. They are also too good in terms of packaging. Choose CSE at NIT Patna, however, based on where you can survive with little change in the environment. Both are excellent.
