National Institute of Technology Patna offers UG, PG and doctoral courses in different specialisations. NIT Patna courses are offered in streams of engineering, architecture, science, arts, humanities and social science. NIT Patna UG courses include B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Tech+M.Tech and Integrated M.Sc. PG courses offered by the National Institute of Technology Patna are M.Tech, M.Arch and MURP.
National Institute of Technology Patna PhD courses are offered in specialisations like Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Mathematics, Chemistry and many more. NIT Patna courses are offered in part-time and full-time modes. The details of the NIT Patna courses and fees along with eligibility criteria are given below.
NIT Patna Fee Structure 2023 -2024
It has various heads including tuition, examination and registration fees, and others. The fee for SC/ST/PH students is separately mentioned in the fee structure. There are some relaxations given to SC/ST/PH students and various other students belonging to low-income groups under the fee concept of NIT Patna. The receipt has to be collected after paying the fee to have the approval of payment.
Applicants in need of a hostel have to pay the fee for using the hostel and its services during admission. Hostellers need to pay hostel fees in addition to the fees already paid during admission as per the NIT Patna fee structure. There is no extra charge included in the fee structure of NIT Patna. There is a payment portal on the official site of NIT Patna to pay the fees online. Pay the fee by credit/debit/net banking. For a full waiver in the fee, the candidate has to submit a caste certificate. For a detailed view of the fee structure of NIT Patna refer to the table given below.
Procedure to Pay NIT Patna Fees
Go to the official site and click on the fee payment link
Select ‘Get User ID and password for new UG admission’.
Enter JEE Main 2024 roll no. and DOB.
The fee portal will appear on the screen.
The applicant will see the user ID and one-time password, you need to change the password.
The candidate must login with the new password.
Finally, do the payment by credit/debit/net banking via (the banks mentioned on the site).
Have a printout for the proof of payment.
Select ‘Registration form entry’ and then opt for semester 1 at the top of the screen.
Finally, the student is done with the payment procedure.

Note:
SC/ST/PH students can avail the complete tuition fee waiver excluding the fee under other heads. Candidate needs to submit a caste certificate issued from the officer holding the rank of SDO / CO, not from the ones below this rank.
Candidates having low family income i.e. less than Rs. 1 lakh can too acquire a full tuition fee waiver. He/she has to submit an income certificate from the officers of SDO / CO rank not below this specified rank.
Students who have a family income between Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 5 lahks will have ⅔ remission of tuition fees after submitting the income certificate with the same rank as mentioned above but have to pay the fee falling other heads.

While entering the main gate, you'll encounter with a ground on right hand side and main building in front. All respective department buildings are present in left and right side of main building. Overall infrastructure looks classic but space is very cozy as compared to other institutions.

nit college infrastructure was good but not bad and only one small ground available in the campus they are not fulfill for student requirement. it is well maintained library and laboratory and hostels are also well maintained

College Infrastructure
Yes all the facilities are available in my college from the instrument to the desirable equipments are provided to use. When I was a student of NIT Patna, the classroom is good there, labs are also fine and when we talk about our facilities, they provided US explore programs. The living space is good enough.

if you scored 88.5 percentile but you belong from the general category, then it will be tough to get NIT Patna. However, if you belong to reserved category like the ST, then you have a chance to get through.
If you want only NIT Patna and you belong to other categories, then I suggest that you sit for the second attempt in the April session to imrpve your score and increase your chances.

According to my analysis, earning a degree from any engineering college is adequate if you are a student of computer science or engineering because you may compete on your own in a variety of coding competitions, and if you succeed, top corporations will undoubtedly want to hire you. CSE is all about practising, competing in events at various levels, and improving your CSE-related talents. Rankings from IIT-PATNA and NIT-WARANGAL are hardly distinguishable. They're sufficiently near. They are also too good in terms of packaging. Choose CSE at NIT Patna, however, based on where you can survive with little change in the environment. Both are excellent.
