Not that much satisfied from the institute

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

The Wi-Fi is non-existent, and the labs are ancient ones. The library is decent with good quantities of books present, but hostel facilities are not so great.Though the college boasts that it has medical facilities.

      Academics

The teachers are average. Some are very helpful and knowledgeable, and they teach well. But there are some who don't establish any rapport with the students and don't deliver much in the classes. Some do syllabus for namesake.

      Placements

Placements for DU's B.Com course are worst-case scenario. Nearly 30% of the students from our department get placed. The majority of the companies that visit are either insurance and sales lines, and mostly these are lesser-known or small startup companies.

      College Infrastructure

Classrooms are well-furnished, and most are spacious and ventilated. Wi-Fi does work, but it hampers when too many students are logged in. I do not live in the hostel, but my friends who stay in the hostel say that hostel life is fine, rooms are neat and functional, and there is 24x7 security.

      Academics

Curriculum is very firm and foundational, but realistically, how ready it makes us for the industry is based on how serious you are. Semester exams are challenging, but reasonable if you have been to classes and studied diligently every day, you can certainly do well.

      Placements

The best package was something like ₹6 LPA, though that's not usually what occurs, and the lowest was something like ₹2–3 LPA. The majority of these placements were carried out off-campus or through separate placement drives independent of the college. DU also offers placements, and it's not up to them whether to avail it or not.

      Overall experience is worth it.

      College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is satisfactory and does its job. Nothing out of the ordinary. Most campuses are often disability friendly. Some buildings are old and sometimes poorly maintained. Overall good. Needs improvement.

      Academics

DU has a strong hold in academics, however given the scenario throughout there needs to be more reform in the syllabi rather than just blindly erasing important texts. Academia needs to be free rather than controlled.

      Placements

Few courses specifically the humanities don't get much placement offers coming in and only the science and commerce majors have some kind of support regarding placement. Humanities courses need more opportunities.

      Value for Money

You'll definitely have a name attached to your degree, DU being one of the most prestigious. The reality is far from that. The few hike is real. And it keeps increasing too much for a government funded public university.

      Academics

Facilities of our college are highly qualified with Ph.D.s. and well experienced. Teachers and students are friendly, they also recommend students to many fields. They help students by providing them study materials.

      Placements

Placement opportunities and internship opportunities of our college is good even for ug course also, one can get a good exposure of working while studying. College has a placement cell also who arrange workshops.

If you want Quality Education than it is really good choice

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

Libraries are well equipped, Wi-Fi is available in reading rooms, and classrooms are functional, if not luxurious. Some buildings are old but suitable. Canteens are cheap, and campus life is happening, particularly during fests and cultural events.

      Academics

The teachers in the majority of DU colleges are friendly and well-versed, particularly in the Arts stream. The professors are properly qualified, with most of them being PhD holders, and provide good guidance, particularly in theory-oriented courses like History, Political Science, Sociology, etc.

      Placements

Being a BA student at DU, I would put it that there are no good placement drives for us. The placement cell takes care only of professional courses such as B.Com, BBA, or B.Sc., and even they are not in large numbers. For BA students, hardly any companies visit, and no organized placement drives take place.

Good for Academics but not for pvt sector jobs

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

Some of the classroom is non-AC and becomes really hot during summer. the college canteen is good and there are sports grounds for football, cricket, and volleyball as well, which are properly maintained and easily accessible.

      Academics

The syllabus still follows the traditional model for universities, and nearly 60% of courses seem irrelevant or detached from the needs of the industry today. Hence, it doesn't actually equip you to cope with real or business issues. The semester examinations are tough, and lecturers hardly provide positive materials or advice.

      Placements

In my experience, At most 10% to 20% of students from my batch get placed, and that also primarily in non-core sectors such as edtech firms, digital marketing agencies, or small consulting companies. The maximum package so far has been around ₹6 LPA, and the minimum was ₹2 LPA, and the average stands at around ₹3 LPA.

      College Infrastructure

Wi-Fi is limited to labs, and sometimes even that doesn’t work well. But I have to say the classrooms are air-conditioned and conditioned very well, making long lectures so much bearable. You don't even get too tired even after consecutive classes.

      Academics

The quality of faculty is mixed. There are certain professors who are simply brilliant at presenting complicated ideas and know the subject inside out. Their lectures make everything fairly easy to grasp. However, there are also teachers who are not very good, and their lectures are more perplexing than enlightening.

      Placements

Placement opportunities for B.Sc. students are quite limited. Most of the time, you’re on your own unless you’re pursuing further studies or competitive exams. Even if you are well-prepared for interviews and go through the placement cell, the highest salary package barely exceeds ₹25,000 per month.

      College Infrastructure

My college has great infrastructure and the buildings are neat and clean. We have all the necessary facilities like WIFI, libraries ,canteen and they are well maintained. The food is also hygienic and tasty.

      Academics

I am currently studying BMS and the my departmental faculty is great, the quality of teaching is great and all the syllabus and work is clearly understood by the students. The curriculum is updated regularly according to the college and the university.

      Placements

University of Delhi provides a good quality of placements to companies like Deloitte, EY, Nestle etc. The college is supportive and helps in the placement process. The placement cell of the college helps in the getting the job.

      College Infrastructure

The campus infrastructure is great, and the labs, canteen, and classrooms are very spacious. Canteen provides good delicious meals, and the campus is also equipped with the Wi-Fi facility. Campus vibes are amazing! Classrooms are clean with proper ventilation, AC, and projectors.

      Academics

The faculty members are good and are always ready to help the students and enhance their career. The faculty members will teach you lots of things and will give a clear exposure of industry and are the good counsellor for the students, who want the suggestions.

      Placements

Every year, companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Jaro Education, Policy Bazar, Epic Research, Capgemini visit the campus to hire students. Only a few companies are well known which come for hiring like Byjus, Policy Bazar, but also they don't offer enough package for fresher.

Only good for Degree and knowledge for Ba students

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

The hostel infrastructures are minimal but maintained clean, in particular for outstation students, with improved food and hygiene. Canteens provide cheap and good-quality food, and students also enjoy the advantage of spacious open areas and games facilities such as cricket, football, and badminton courts.

      Academics

Faculty direct students when required on assignments, projects, and higher study schemes. Passing percentage in BA courses is good as the syllabus is given such that there is space for theory and practical implications too, but actual study is always required to score well in the exams.

      Placements

No placement center is available for Delhi University BA course. Even though the university's placement cell is functional for professional courses such as B.Com, BBA, and B.Sc, students of BA do not get campus placement directly from the college.
