Du is always top university for Bachelors and Masters

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

The library facilities are good and well-stocked for commerce-related books and journals. Wi-Fi is available in most parts of the college but the speed is not always reliable. There is a cafeteria inside the campus which serves a variety of food items at reasonable rates, and the taste is satisfactory.

      Academics

The environment of the college is good, and the overall student crowd is disciplined and focused. Various programs and seminars are conducted throughout the year to enhance students’ academic and practical understanding of commerce-related subjects.

      Placements

Around 60% to 65% of students from our batch got placed. The highest package offered was around ₹6 LPA, but such offers were very rare and limited to students with exceptional profiles. Students with extra skills and certification programs add extra chances of placements.

Good university for creating a base in private sector

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

Infrastructure for B.Com is well developed. Facilities in hostels are good, with regular maintenance, but mess food quality is not up to the mark. Mess hygiene is sometimes suspect as insects or rodents could be seen from time to time, and food quality and taste are not always good.

      Academics

Professors are learned, helpful, and friendly. They are always willing to assist students, Semester exams are conducted twice a year and are of moderate difficulty. The pass percentage is extremely high, with the student passing exams easily comfortably by around 80-85% of students.

      Placements

For the B.Com course at Delhi University, it is not great but is satisfactory. Few major firms such as Axis Bank, Cognizant, and KPMG do visit the campus for recruitment. However, they select mostly those who have good academic record and additional certifications.

A college that makes you feel complete top 10 for a reason

      College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure was so good, all building were well maintianed. classes were well maintained, daily cleaning and different building for so many events. Well Maintaned buildings. All classrooms were occupied with digital learning and we had the biggest ground in the whole DU. And wifi connectivity was almost everywhere. The food was good.

      Academics

There was lot of courses we got offered, and the syllabus we have studied even matches the m.sc level syllabus. Professors were very good there teaching style and how they used to deliver the topics were excellent, regular assseement was always there.Good in terms of academic

      Placements

Placement cell was very active and a good active package of 10-12 lakh generally get recieved by the B.Sc degree peoples. Generally 70-80 who sits for the placements gets the placement. The placement process was really made easy by the placement cells people as they keep sendind the mails and keeps us updated.

      Value for Money

So the college fees was around 17k per year which was quite less as we have the made the most of it i feel, as the assecibility of so many things we had as compariosn to the fees/ the money spend was totally worth it in terms of everything

      Campus Life

The best days of my life i would say the best feature was the atmosphere and the people out there- so many talented people was there you really get to learn everyday new things if you talk to someone , the worst feature i would say a little of the canteen Students, teacher and staff was always very helpful and always there if you need any help, the location was almost near the metro station so very much accesible to go , it is safe as good number of guards and safety measure were there.

      Others

      Best days of my life.

Beside placement, All things are good as a BA course.

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

Hostels are strictly monitored wardens ensure discipline seriously, and rules are followed stringently. Mess food is good and the menu is changed often to prevent it from becoming boring. The libraries are good and well equipped with useful material.

      Academics

The majority of professors are highly qualified and encourage interactive participation as well as critical thinking. Semester tests are not that challenging provided you regularly attend classes and put in your efforts. You require at least 33% to pass, though to get good grades and establish a strong academic background, steady hard work is required.

      Placements

Honestly speaking, there are no placement of BA students in DU. Some departments do provide internship arrangements, but no official or regular placement drives are organized for general BA courses. A lot of students pursue higher studies, competitive exams, or off-campus internships on their own.

      Good university for enhanceing skills

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

The classrooms are good and well-furnished with fans and projectors, though not all rooms are fully computerized. The library is adequately stocked, and Wi-Fi exists but sometimes patchy. There are individual computer labs for studying commerce-related software, though facilities are limited. The canteen is decent, with food being reasonable in cost.

      Academics

Board and chalk or textbook-based learning is the favorite of most professors. The course is theory-based and proves helpful if you are pursuing higher studies or competitive exams, but doesn't bother with practical exposure. The exams are held twice a year, and internal assessments have marks.

      Placements

DU B.Com placements are average in general. Mid-size and regional firms come in placement season to hire in accounts, operations, sales, and business support roles. Some students do get good deals, but most of them depend on off-campus hiring or internships to develop their profiles.

BA and other UG course has limited placement or no

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

The air-conditioning facilities were available only in the library and certain auditoriums, the climate inside was still comfortable. The Wi-Fi was fully functional in major study locations, and there were also basic medical facilities within the campus.

      Academics

The curriculum was well balanced with both theoretical knowledge and development of analytical skills. Internal exams, presentations, and written tests were conducted for assessment.the teachers were vary strict about the attendance at that time.

      Placements

In my BA course , there was no proper placement cell for BA students alone in the majority of DU colleges. In contrast to professional courses, companies hardly visited to conduct on-campus recruitment for BA graduates.

Really the university provide the value what you are looking

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

Auditoriums are equipped and used regularly for guest lectures, events, and seminars. The library is a quiet place where most students like to sit and read and prepare. Canteen food is healthy and affordable, though variety is sometimes less. Basic things like Wi-Fi, clean toilets, and sports grounds are provided.

      Academics

The teachers are friendly, experienced, and have in-depth knowledge of the subject. The curriculum of the course is well designed and industry-specific, provided you utilize internships and certificate courses along with it.

      Placements

Ideally, students receive offers of about ₹6 LPA, particularly from well-known organizations. Some of the major recruiters are EY, Deloitte, Genpact, KPMG, and HDFC Bank, who recruit mainly for auditing, finance, and operations roles. About 75–80% of our course students are able to find internships, usually through the placement cells in the colleges or student-run initiatives.

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

The libraries are also well-stocked with reference books and research journals.the campus is well-linked with bus and metro routes,Classrooms are usually ventilated and up to date, though not everyone is air-conditioned.

      Academics

Quality of teaching overall is good, particularly in important subjects, and professors are accessible if you put effort into your studies. Resources and notes are generally offered, and there is focus placed on conceptual clarity.

      Placements

There is no systematic placement process for the majority of science courses. Even if some students get internships or postings through off-campus activities, campus placements are nearly zero for B.Sc specifically for mathematics.

University is impressive but placements are middle

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

The classrooms in my college are neat, well-kept, and have functioning fans and projectors. Libraries are a stronghold—filled with decent reference material, comfortable seating, and a peaceful atmosphere for concentrated study. Wi-Fi connectivity is present in academic blocks but not necessarily dependable.

      Academics

Faculty quality is a blend of average and good, but improved than what others would typically think. In my B.Com course, there are some professors who are really great, with a great academic background and unambiguous teaching method.

      Placements

For B.Com students at Delhi University, placements are generally average and not very promising unless you’re from one of the top colleges under DU like SRCC or Hindu. In most cases, students have to find jobs off-campus, using platforms like LinkedIn or personal networks.

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

Hostel rooms of the majority of North Campus colleges are simple and hygienic, equipped with beds, study desks, cupboards, and inbuilt bathrooms. Wi-Fi is available in all the hostels and academic blocks. Day-to-day meals breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available at the mess with a fixed menu. Additional food is also served at the college canteens with snacks, tea, and different meals at minimal rates.

      Academics

The course material is well structured and sensible and enables students to prepare for corporate careers as well as competitive exams. Semester exams examine theory as well as practice, and though few papers are tricky, pass percentage is around 30%

      Placements

The highest package offered has crossed ₹20 LPA in rare cases, usually in the role of finance analysts for top firms. The average package varies between ₹3 LPA to ₹10 LPA, and the minimum offers vary between ₹2 LPA. Companies like KPMG, Deloitte, EY, Genpact, and HDFC Bank visit top DU colleges quite frequently.
