Classrooms were good, with the facility of wifi and smart board. There is no dress code, student can wear what ever they want. Canteen is nice with variety of food, the quality and taste is acceptable.
Moderate schedule with around 5-15 lectures per week. Teachers were knowledgeable and helpful, and clear every student's doubt with patiently and clamly. The college have some of the best teachers available for various subjects and course.
Placement is great, specially for B.com hons comparatively to other courses. Well reputed companies like KPMG, Zomato, wipro etc. came here for placement. Placements of the college are very good, and the percentage of students getting placed every year is frequently improving.
The infrastructure of Maitreyi College is well maintained and student friendly . Just washrooms are not well maintained as they became old . Classrooms are clean and library is well stocked , and labs are equipped with necessary facilities . The green ,full of flowers and peaceful campus adds to overall experience .
The faculty is supportive and knowledgeable. Most professors and approachable and helpful ,ensuring conceptual clarity . The curriculum is well structured , and balanced with both and practical exposure .
Around 60% of students gets placed . Top packages go up to 20LPA. Others pursue higher studies like masters in India or abroad . Placement cell is active but could be more connected with big firms …..
The college is government aided ,so the fee is quite affordable . Considering the education ,facilities and exposure provided ,it’s definitely value for Money .
Campus life is vibrant with numerous societies and fests and events . Recently Astha gill performed in annual fest . Student actively participate in cultural and academic activities ,creating a lively and inclusive environment .
We have nice spacious classrooms, air-conditioned labs, a good library and a proper reading room. The college has a really good infrastructure with a newly built auditorium, library, playground, canteen and the classroom.
The college has some of the best teachers available for various subjects and courses. They are very friendly with the students, and above all, they are very hardworking, one can clear their doubts to anyone in the faculty time
It is one of the best colleges in terms of placements in Delhi. Most of the placement in our college is available for B.Com honors but others courses also get opportunity. Top recruiting companies like KPMG, Zomato, wipro ect. Came here for placement.
The library facilities are good and well-stocked for commerce-related books and journals. Wi-Fi is available in most parts of the college but the speed is not always reliable. There is a cafeteria inside the campus which serves a variety of food items at reasonable rates, and the taste is satisfactory.
The environment of the college is good, and the overall student crowd is disciplined and focused. Various programs and seminars are conducted throughout the year to enhance students’ academic and practical understanding of commerce-related subjects.
Around 60% to 65% of students from our batch got placed. The highest package offered was around ₹6 LPA, but such offers were very rare and limited to students with exceptional profiles. Students with extra skills and certification programs add extra chances of placements.
Infrastructure for B.Com is well developed. Facilities in hostels are good, with regular maintenance, but mess food quality is not up to the mark. Mess hygiene is sometimes suspect as insects or rodents could be seen from time to time, and food quality and taste are not always good.
Professors are learned, helpful, and friendly. They are always willing to assist students, Semester exams are conducted twice a year and are of moderate difficulty. The pass percentage is extremely high, with the student passing exams easily comfortably by around 80-85% of students.
For the B.Com course at Delhi University, it is not great but is satisfactory. Few major firms such as Axis Bank, Cognizant, and KPMG do visit the campus for recruitment. However, they select mostly those who have good academic record and additional certifications.
The college infrastructure was so good, all building were well maintianed. classes were well maintained, daily cleaning and different building for so many events. Well Maintaned buildings. All classrooms were occupied with digital learning and we had the biggest ground in the whole DU. And wifi connectivity was almost everywhere. The food was good.
There was lot of courses we got offered, and the syllabus we have studied even matches the m.sc level syllabus. Professors were very good there teaching style and how they used to deliver the topics were excellent, regular assseement was always there.Good in terms of academic
Placement cell was very active and a good active package of 10-12 lakh generally get recieved by the B.Sc degree peoples. Generally 70-80 who sits for the placements gets the placement. The placement process was really made easy by the placement cells people as they keep sendind the mails and keeps us updated.
So the college fees was around 17k per year which was quite less as we have the made the most of it i feel, as the assecibility of so many things we had as compariosn to the fees/ the money spend was totally worth it in terms of everything
The best days of my life i would say the best feature was the atmosphere and the people out there- so many talented people was there you really get to learn everyday new things if you talk to someone , the worst feature i would say a little of the canteen Students, teacher and staff was always very helpful and always there if you need any help, the location was almost near the metro station so very much accesible to go , it is safe as good number of guards and safety measure were there.
Best days of my life.
Hostels are strictly monitored wardens ensure discipline seriously, and rules are followed stringently. Mess food is good and the menu is changed often to prevent it from becoming boring. The libraries are good and well equipped with useful material.
The majority of professors are highly qualified and encourage interactive participation as well as critical thinking. Semester tests are not that challenging provided you regularly attend classes and put in your efforts. You require at least 33% to pass, though to get good grades and establish a strong academic background, steady hard work is required.
Honestly speaking, there are no placement of BA students in DU. Some departments do provide internship arrangements, but no official or regular placement drives are organized for general BA courses. A lot of students pursue higher studies, competitive exams, or off-campus internships on their own.
The classrooms are good and well-furnished with fans and projectors, though not all rooms are fully computerized. The library is adequately stocked, and Wi-Fi exists but sometimes patchy. There are individual computer labs for studying commerce-related software, though facilities are limited. The canteen is decent, with food being reasonable in cost.
Board and chalk or textbook-based learning is the favorite of most professors. The course is theory-based and proves helpful if you are pursuing higher studies or competitive exams, but doesn't bother with practical exposure. The exams are held twice a year, and internal assessments have marks.
DU B.Com placements are average in general. Mid-size and regional firms come in placement season to hire in accounts, operations, sales, and business support roles. Some students do get good deals, but most of them depend on off-campus hiring or internships to develop their profiles.
