COEP Pune offers a variety of programmes, each with a different admissions procedure. To be eligible for COEP Pune B.Tech admission, students must take the JEE Main or MHT CET and take part in counselling. COEP Pune M.Tech admissions are given on various modes, those who have qualified GATE, can take the CAP counselling and secure the admission. The selection process for admission involves evaluating the candidates' performance in the entrance exams, and academic records. Based on these factors, the candidates will be selected for admission to the respective programs.
For MBA admission, the college considers the MAH-MBA CET score. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria and meet the cutoff for admission to any of the COEP Pune courses. After qualifying for the entrance examination, applicants must fill up the online application form for the CAP (Centralised Admission Process) counselling by the competent authority of the Maharashtra government. Register for the CAP counselling after qualifying for the entrance examinations.
Fill in all the required details and upload the required documents.
Pay the application fee of Rs. 800 and submit the application.
Take a printout of the filled application form for future reference.
To log into the student portal, candidates must visit the student portal website: http://portalcoeptech.coep.org.in/. After that, candidates must enter their username, enter their password and click on ‘Login’. The COEP Pune Login portal includes examination cells, academic details, fees, admission status and many other details.
The college provides B.Tech and B.Plan courses at the undergraduate level with a 4-year course duration. The COEP Pune B.Tech course is available in various domains including Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering. Passing HSC or equivalent is a necessary requirement for admission.

All the above documents must be presented at the time of document verification in the college.
Note: The college also provides admission to the research (PhD) programmes offered by the various departments of the university. Eligible candidates must appear Research Programme Eligibility Test (RPET) for COEP Pune PhD admission 2024. The exam is conducted by the university in an online mode.
A competent authority conducts CAP (Centralised Admission Process) counselling for admission to technical courses in private, aided, and unaided institutions and universities. After qualifying for the entrance examination, candidates must register on Maharashtra’s CET (Common Entrance Test) Cell: cetcell.mahacet.org for counselling. Seats will be allotted on the basis of performance in the entrance examination, college-course preference and cutoff marks criteria.
Students can check the provisional merit list and allotment on the CET’s official website: cetcell.mahacet.org. To check the results of the COEP Pune seat allotment, candidates should log in to the portal and enter their application number/registered mobile number and password (if applicable). Selected candidates should pay their COEP Pune admission fee.
COEP does accept JEE Mains score for candidature on All India seats. Most of the seats are filled based on the MHT-CET scores. Maharashtra state candidates can also apply for All India seats.
The college’s annual intake for the MBA is 60 and 30 respectively in the Business Analytics and General Management courses. The college accepts MAH-MBA CET scores for admission.
The college accepts MHT-CET and JEE Main scores for the B.Tech admission. After qualifying for the examination, candidates must apply for the CAP (Centralised Admission Process) counselling through which seats will be allotted.

COEP Pune admission process is completely entrance-examination based. Scores obtained in the entrance exams determine the final selection of the candidates. So, candidates cannot get direct admissions.
I'm pursuing Btech Computer Engineering right now from this college. Because computer engineering field have too many job opportunities. Faculty of COEP is good. Hence quality of teaching is good. Overall academics is good
Academics here is decent. Most of the teachers are PHd's. Learnings happens through the various clubs which are there like team nemesis, team velociracers, team octane racing, Robotics club. Teams form here participate at international level.

College of engineering Pune is an autonomous college of Savitribai Phule Pune University. It takes admission on the basis of jee mains and MHTCET scores.
Jee mains seats are only reserved for 20% of the total seats . 80% of the seats are reserved for MHTCET candidates.
So if you have studied from Maharashtra then you would have an edge as you would be having the benefit of the home state quota.
