The admissions of YCCE Nagpur are offered at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D are the courses offered by the institute. Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Technology are the various disciplines of engineering offered by the institute. YCCE Nagpur admissions to B.Tech courses are offered throughCAP rounds as per the guidelines published by SCET Cell, Govt. of Maharashtra on the basis of JEE Main or MH-CET score . YCCE Nagpur admissions to M.Tech courses are also offered through two ways- 80% seats are offered through CAP rounds based on GATE score as per the guidelines published by SCET Cell, Govt. of Maharashtra. The remaining 20% seats are offered against 20% ILQ quota based on merit number assigned by competent authority on the basis of marks obtained in GATE.

YCCE Nagpur offers 16 B.Tech courses in various disciplines. The duration of the courses is four years. The eligibility criteria and the seats for all the B.Tech courses are given below:
Candidates must appear for MHT-CET or JEE Main.
Merit list is prepared based on marks obtained in MHT-CET or JEE Main.
Candidates must meet the YCCE Nagpur cut off.
Eligible candidates should register for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP).
Selected candidates must get their documents verified and pay the admission fees for final admission.
A total of 7 M.Tech courses in various disciplines are offered by YCCE Nagpur at the PG level. The duration of the courses is two years. The eligibility criteria and the seats for all the M.Tech courses are given below:
