A quiet decent college if you are at state level

Starting with the infrastructure, it is just ok, not exceptional, just good. Recently there has been various changes to the infrastructure of Hostels, Now its improving and its quiet a remarkable change. Talking of Faculty and Students, Students here are really exceptional , they are as sharp as they can be , just underestimated because of state level ranking, Professors are good, and helpful but rest faculty is just OK. Talking of Placements, Its Excellent for CS/ IT students with respect to a state college, Other Core Engineering Branch students generally opt for PSU and higher education through GATE and various other examinations.

Better Environment for Study than any colleges in UP.

KNIT sultanpur which is situated in one of the largest city of Uttar pradesh i.e sultanpur. however sultanpur is in rural area and not more developed as compare to lucknow or even gorakhpur. KNIT placed 2nd ranked college in UPSEE. hostal life at KNIT is not that interesting just because of poor infrastructure of hostals like:- V.S hostel. By The way KNIT's hostel is much more better. Since KNIT tier up with TCS and IBM, placement of CS/IT/EC and EL students is approximate fixed. however KNIT provides the placement facilities for CIVIL students also in L&T,Ansal etc. At the end... "KNIT ka name hi kafi hai.."

All the experience which are provided here are very unique to college life....we will have so many oppurtunities of our peers through activities on campus....Believe it or not, professors are pretty cool people. They r smart, often expert in their respective fields and r always willing to share all the informations with students...It is always good to get experience juggling several responsibilities because it will be better prepared for whats to come.

New hostels are very good but the college has some really old infrastructure. Makes sense as it is one of the oldest in UP (1976). Hostel life is good. Placements are okay-ish with CS/ IT EL having more opportunities. Location is not as remote as people think. Within 5-7 mins, you can reach Sultanpur city by auto. However the city is boring and not comparable at all with Lucknow or Kanpur.

Best in AKTU ,Since the advent of new Director college is seeing marvelous development .After a decade, it might compete for MNNIT. Its guest faculty are the worst, the admin department is insecure for students as they behave like ''Sarkari babus '' .You have to prepare for everything by yourself ,faculty-student interaction is very low. Nothing more can be said.....:(

It is one of the top government colleges of U.P. I personally found this college good, one of the fact being its government, it's fee is less. It's nice to study here with such healthy environment. The campus is huge with lots of facilities. Teachers are educated as well as experienced which is good for both students and college. I am proud to be a part of this college. Staff members are good which is necessary for this institution and rest all other things are fine.

It was bad. Not supportive either financially or technically. But head faculties are very knowledgeable. Some of the students are really interested in gaining knowledge but the environment of the college is pathetic. You cannot learn anything new and if you want then the resources and support are negligible.

College may not seem promising at first but as you settle down, you will gain experience of life. An autonomous govt. Institute affiliated to UPTU. You will enjoy your college life, learn things all by yourself. KNIT teaches you how to survive. Strong alumnus association. I would suggest KNIT.

Except college infrastructure, there are a lot of things to look forward in this institution. Especially the hostel life is amazing. We have genuinely very interesting who opt for this college. In the first year, you might feel that you are held up in a hell hole but with the due course of time that feeling vanishes away. The most important thing that everyone looks out in a college is its placement. There are many MNCs who visit the college every year. So that front you can be rest assured. All in all you will have a good time here.
