On Question asked by student community
If you are a PCB student and want to apply for BA Psychology at Delhi University, you can still choose Psychology as a CUET domain subject even though you didn’t study it in Class 12. DU allows students from any stream to pick subjects like Psychology, Sociology, or Political Science for CUET. The idea that only Class 12 subjects can be chosen as domain subjects is a common confusion, but it doesn’t apply to most DU programmes, including BA Psychology.
Some colleges may prefer students with a background in the subject, but it isn’t a compulsory requirement. Your CUET score is what ultimately matters for admission. Since Psychology will be new for you, it helps to start preparing early so you can score well in CUET. All the best.
Hello
The Integrated BA BEd program is a 4-year teacher-training course.
It combines a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Bachelor of Education in one stretch. Because it’s integrated, you save one full year compared to doing BA (3 years) andBEd (2 years) separately.
During these four years, you study both subject knowledge and teaching skills.
It’s a good option if you’re sure you want to become a teacher early on.
Most universities and teaching colleges in India follow this 4-year duration.
