About Asutosh College
Sir Asutosh College, earlier known as the South Suburban College was established in 1916 under the leadership of renowned mathematician Sir Asutosh Mukherjee. After Sir Asutosh's death in 1924, the college was renamed after him. Asutosh College Kolkata is affiliated to the University of Calcutta. With a CPGA of 3.22, NAAC has accredited the institute with an ‘A’ grade. The campus covers an area of 12 acres.

College Infrastructure
I find the campus buildings are older, but the Statistics department's computer lab is functional for me. We have the essential software required for data analysis and practical sessions. The library is adequate, especially for accessing foundational mathematics and statistics textbooks. I sometimes wish the infrastructure was more modernized, but it serves my basic academic needs.
High academic quality, low cost and decent campus life.

College Infrastructure
I find the buildings possess a traditional, historic feel, which is appealing. My classrooms are spacious and comfortable for me, but the digital teaching aids are outdated or sometimes absent. The library is excellent for accessing crucial economics texts. I wish the college provided better maintenance for the overall facilities. I think the infrastructure is completely acceptable.
Building a very strong academic foundation here.

I find the college buildings have a classic, old-world charm, but I admit the facilities sometimes feel slightly outdated. My classrooms are spacious and generally clean, but I wish for modern digital teaching aids in every room. The library is excellent, and I spend a lot of time there accessing rare economics journals and resources. I recognize the infrastructure is manageable, but I often look for more modern amenities.

Honestly if you consider dear, in case of BA courses colleges do not provide official placements. However you can sit for off campus interviews and get a good job, Most often this college will give you a good opportunity to do internships that can provide you jobs in future.
