Yes, the college has everything that is needed for a student's growth be it infrastructure, classrooms, projectors, water dispenser and clean washrooms. The campus has a tall 3 floored massive library equipped with functioning desktops. Hostel for girls is functional and we'll maintained, everything is clean about it, the rooms even has AC's and mess food is also okay. Even the rooms are spacious.
I'm studying BcomHons because I want to have good amount of knowledge in the finance world. The classes are very smooth and regular. The faculty is nice and very punctual with assignments and tests. Yes, the college follows the new NEP policy and is updated curriculum wise.
Disha, The placement cell of Hindu college is the most prestigious society since it's founding. It is the most rigorous and different than other societies as it provides real time interactions with the corporate world outside. Last year reports prove that the Highest was 24.8 lpa, average 9.8 lpa and median around 8 lpa.
The college's fees for BcomHons is 29000. And yes it is worth the money.
The society culture at Hindu college stands strong throughout the Delhi University so the student engagement is very fun.
Best library, good washrooms, new classes, big canteens, boys hostel under construction, superb labs for science and stats students. So the overall infrastructure is really good and maintained also new construction is on going.
Good teachers but you have to put efforts for 9 gpa other wise you can score 7.5-8.5 just by classes. So you have to give time for extra marks but if you hmwant decent scores just be regular in classes.
Many students got their placements in top firm, specially those who have socities and are serving at a position of responsibility. So many students get their placement, we have dedicated placement and internship cell, students get internship and job in top firms like JP Morgan, Goldman, Air India, Bain, EY, KPMG.
Ya value for money too, since you have all kind of people, you can learn what ever you want, lot to explore.
Nice campus life geloung seniors, vibrant and learning atmosphere.
The infrastructure is really good. Most classrooms are air conditioned. The washrooms are clean too. Also, the building is really beautiful. The gardens are well maintained. There are two canteens, both of them are good.
Teachers are passionate and they come regularly too. And they are nice to students. Teachers and students form good bond. They even take part in cultural actuvites. Teachers are very chill and humorous.
Most students are well placed. The Internship Cell of Hindu College is really active which helps to build the CV. The placement cell of Hindu is commendable as it provides some really good offers. Recommended.
The fees is less only. But the facilities provided along with the exposure of the Hindu College is amazing.
The crowd is really cool and fun here. Hmesha kuchh na kuchh Hoya hi rehta.
I would say coming into Hindu College is many people's dream. And it doesn't dissapointe. It is once in a lifetime chance.
I'm currently persuing b.com(hons) at hindu cllg ,and you know what's the best part , there's greenery everywhere you guys will live it , the look is so beautiful and old school, the library is huge and peaceful that give you a great vive on studying if you don't waste your time bunking class. Faculty is maintaining good and clean living space, hostel is there too but limited seats.
The professor here are well educated, so you learn most real world experience from them , they also take care about individuals co-curricular and extra-curricular activity maintained at peak. They offer many projects so that you can add those in your resume for further jobs.
Placement is decent for some particular course, otherwise you have to apply outside by yourself, big four firms like Deloitte and EY came and pick students for internship, overall placement cell is trying to help as much as they can.
Campus is good , maintenance cleanliness, water coller etc, cllg offer many societies for extra-curricular growth like dance , singing etc also for academic also, you can enroll in this and can do your best.
Improved a lot in the past 3 yrs, the problem lies in the access and fostering its usage by admin. Rest the basic things like Wi-Fi smart boards are well maintained. New infra is under rapid development such as new public policy lab, bigger and better library and auditorium.
Good academic background of the teachers with improved focus on research facilities, a budding researcher can find in good supporting environment easily. The new IA-CA components are also well integrated to focus on the academic articulation.
No placement in my course, some are available in the Eco hons and other market linked courses but there also it's not natural to be placed, need to put in extra personal efforts. A lot needs to be done here but naturally we must also strive to acquire better skills for being market ready.
Being DU college with subsidized public education, value for money is absolutely there, wonderful for day scholars who need not worry about the rising allied costs such as PGs and Rent.
