Good college for exposure and easy to reach from locations

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

After two years at SCAC, I am quite happy with the infrastructure. The classrooms are comfortable, the library is useful and the computer facilities are good enough for regular academic work. The campus is clean and well maintained. It is not huge, but the facilities available are sufficient.

      Academics

I am in my second year of commerce and have had a positive academic experience. The professors generally have good subject knowledge and are approachable. Apart from regular lectures, we have presentations, assignments and projects that make learning more engaging. The course has given me a strong foundation so far.

      Placements

Since I am in my second year, I have not experienced the final placement process yet. However, the college provides information about internships and career opportunities, and the placement cell is reasonably supportive. Seniors have also shared useful guidance about preparing for recruitment and building relevant skills.

      Value for Money

I feel SCAC provides good value for money. The fees are reasonable and the college provides access to decent faculty, academic resources, extracurricular activities and different opportunities for exposure. After two years, I feel the overall experience has been worthwhile and the education is giving me a good foundation.

      Campus Life

Campus life has become more enjoyable in my second year. There are fests, competitions, clubs and other activities where students can participate and meet people outside their classes. The atmosphere is generally friendly, and the location is convenient. Public transport options also make travelling to college quite easy.

      Others

After spending two years at SCAC, I have had a good overall experience. The academics are decent, there are enough activities to stay involved and the location makes commuting easy. I have also met some great people here. There are areas that can improve, but overall I am happy with my college choice.

      Average college for exposure

      College Infrastructure

The infrastructure at SCAC is one of the areas that needs improvement. The classrooms, library and computer facilities are functional, but some resources feel outdated. The campus is also quite small, so space can become an issue during busy periods. Overall, I expected better facilities from the college.

      Academics

I chose commerce because I was interested in business and finance, but the academic experience has been inconsistent. Some professors are good and approachable, while others mainly focus on completing the syllabus. There is also limited practical exposure, and I feel the curriculum could include more industry-based projects and learning.

      Placements

The placement opportunities at SCAC are not particularly impressive. There are companies that visit the campus, but the number of good opportunities is limited and the packages can vary. The placement cell offers some guidance, but students have to depend heavily on their own preparation and networking to find better opportunities.

      Value for Money

The fees are relatively affordable, which is one positive aspect, but I feel the overall experience could be better. The infrastructure, practical exposure and industry interaction do not always match expectations. Considering the options available today, I would recommend comparing SCAC with other colleges before deciding where to invest your time and money.

      Campus Life

Campus life is fairly average. There are some fests, competitions and student activities, but the small campus limits the overall experience. The quality of interaction with teachers and support staff varies. The location is convenient, though, and reaching the college by bus, auto or cab is relatively easy.

      Others

The convenient location and transport connectivity are probably the strongest advantages. Apart from that, I feel SCAC has considerable room for improvement. Better infrastructure, more practical learning, stronger industry exposure and improved placement opportunities would make the overall student experience much better.

      College Infrastructure

After spending two years at SCAC, I feel the infrastructure is one area that needs improvement. The classrooms, library and computer facilities are functional, but some resources seem outdated. The campus is also quite small, which can feel restrictive when there are many students around.

      Academics

I am in my second year and my academic experience has been mixed. Some professors are knowledgeable and helpful, but the teaching quality is not consistent across subjects. A lot of the learning is still theory-focused, and I feel there should be more practical projects, industry interaction and updated teaching methods.

      Placements

After two years, I would rate the placement opportunities as average. There are companies visiting the campus, but the number of strong opportunities is limited and packages can vary. The placement cell provides basic guidance, although students need to put in considerable effort themselves to build skills and prepare for interviews.

      Value for Money

The fees are fairly reasonable, which is a positive, but after two years I feel the overall experience could offer more. Infrastructure, practical exposure and industry interaction could be improved. Considering the cost, it is affordable, but I would not say the college provides exceptional value compared with other available options.

      Campus Life

Campus life after two years has been average. There are fests, competitions and clubs, but the limited campus space can restrict activities. The student environment is generally okay, although experiences with faculty and staff differ. The location is convenient and public transport makes daily commuting relatively easy.

      Others

After two years at SCAC, I feel the college has both positives and negatives. The location, affordable fees and some good professors are advantages, but infrastructure, practical learning and placements could be stronger. It is a decent option, but I would suggest comparing it with other colleges before making a decision.

      College Infrastructure

After spending two years at SCAC, I would rate the infrastructure as average to decent. The classrooms, library and computer facilities are useful for regular studies, but some areas could be improved. The campus is clean and functional, although the limited space can sometimes be inconvenient during busy hours.

      Academics

I am in my second year of commerce and my academic experience has been fairly average. Some professors explain concepts well and are approachable, while teaching can feel more theoretical in certain subjects. The curriculum provides a decent foundation, but I would like to see more practical projects and industry exposure.

      Placements

After two years, I would say the placement opportunities at SCAC are average. There are companies and internship opportunities available, but getting the better roles requires good preparation and skills. The placement cell provides basic guidance and support, although I feel there could be more companies and stronger course-specific opportunities.

      Value for Money

SCAC offers reasonable value for money because the fees are comparatively affordable. However, after two years, I feel the overall experience is good but not exceptional. The academics and facilities are satisfactory, while practical exposure and some student resources could be improved to make the course more worthwhile.

      Campus Life

Campus life at SCAC is fairly enjoyable, with fests, competitions, clubs and other activities. The student crowd is diverse and I have met some good people during my two years here. The campus is relatively small, but the location is convenient and travelling to college by bus, auto or cab is quite easy.

      Others

Overall, my experience at SCAC after two years has been average but satisfactory. The college has a convenient location, reasonable fees and a decent academic environment. At the same time, I feel there is scope for improvement in infrastructure, practical learning and placements. It is a decent option if expectations are realistic.

In my second year at SCAC, I have found the infrastructure quite satisfactory. The classrooms are comfortable, the library is useful and the computer facilities support our academic work. The campus is clean and generally well maintained. It is not very large, but the facilities available are enough for day-to-day college requirements.

      Academics

I am in my second year of commerce and have had a good academic experience at SCAC. The professors have good knowledge of their subjects and are approachable when we need guidance. Assignments, presentations and projects add some practical learning to the regular lectures and help us understand the concepts better.

      Placements

I have not entered the final placement stage yet, but the placement cell has been useful in keeping students informed about internships and career opportunities. Seniors have also shared positive experiences regarding recruitment. The college provides a good starting platform, although students have to work on their own skills and interview preparation.

      Value for Money

After completing two years at SCAC, I feel the college offers good value for money. The fees are reasonable and we get access to experienced faculty, academic resources, events and extracurricular opportunities. The overall exposure has been useful, and I feel the education and experience justify the amount spent.

      Campus Life

Second year has been a lot more enjoyable because I have become familiar with the college and got more involved in activities. There are fests, competitions and clubs to participate in, and the student crowd is friendly. The location is another advantage, as the college is easy to reach by public transport.

      Others

After spending two years at SCAC, I would definitely recommend it to students looking for a commerce college in Pune. The academics, activities and overall environment have been good so far. The convenient location is also a major advantage, especially for students who travel daily to college.

      Placements

Being in second year, I have started paying more attention to internships and placements. I feel the college provides a good platform, although students still need to prepare independently.

      Value for Money

As a first-year student, I find the infrastructure at SCAC fairly average. The classrooms and library are functional, but some facilities feel outdated and the campus is quite small. During busy hours, the limited space becomes noticeable. The basic requirements are available, but I expected better infrastructure overall.

      Academics

I am in my first year of commerce because I wanted to understand business and finance, but the academic experience has been mixed. Some professors teach well, while others mainly focus on theory and completing the syllabus. I feel there should be more practical activities, industry exposure and interactive teaching.

      Placements

Since I am only in my first year, I have not personally experienced placements yet. From what I have heard from seniors, the opportunities are average and better roles can be competitive. The placement cell provides basic guidance, but students seem to need considerable individual preparation to secure good opportunities.

      Value for Money

The fees at SCAC are reasonable, but so far I am not completely satisfied with the overall value. The academics and facilities feel fairly basic, and I expected more practical exposure and student resources. It is still early in my course, so I hope the experience improves in the coming years.

The convenient location is definitely a positive because public transport is easily available. However, I feel SCAC could improve its infrastructure, teaching methods and practical exposure for students.

      Placements

Since I am still in my first year, I have not experienced the placement process personally yet.
