Daulat Ram College Delhi was established in 1960 to provide better education to women and make them confident, powerful and responsible. Daulat Ram College is recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) within-grade ‘A’. The college is ranked 26 by NIRF in 2020 in the college category. Daulat Ram College Delhi campus is spread across 13 acres with over 65 faculty members and visiting staff. The intake capacity for undergraduate programmes is approximately 1200 students in all streams combined. It is a part of the Delhi University, offering degrees in Arts, Science and Commerce at the UG level. At the PG level, Daulat Ram College offers a few disciplines in MA. A total of 39 courses are offered at UG and PG levels.

The library and reading room facilities are open from 9 am to 5 pm on weekdays. Braille equipment acts as an enabler helping visually impaired students. Daulat Ram College Scholarships
The Daulat Ram College scholarship is awarded at 3 levels. The first type of scholarship is provided by the college, the second is by the university and the third type is granted by the state or the central government. Daulat Ram College scholarships, freeships, fellowships, and awards are given to underprivileged students and PwD students so that they can excel academically and in sports. Additionally, Delhi University conducts a competitive exam for desirous students, an examination fee of Rs 50 is levied. SC/ST students can avail scholarships from the states they come from.
