I don't like this college. It's big but who wants it? We want to be taught but the teachers n themselves don't know what they are teachin. Our teacher taught us rarely as she n other teachers used to go out every second day(for enjoying purpose ). It's not a good college.

Good for B.tech CS

Kartik

Batch of 2017 | B.Tech Civil Engineering Three Continent
I think a student should join amity if he is interested in computer science .For B.tech , 90% companies come for cs recruitment .Even mechanical , electrical , aerospace etc get placed in It companies . CS students have a good chance to get 4-5 lpa package and even 10 lpa offered by microsoft. For mechanical branch ,lot of companies comes for recruitment .Avg package for mechanical is around 2.5 lpa. Few companies come for core electrical jobs . Same is the case for aerospace . Many IT companies recruit students from all branches except civil. Now ,here comes the other aspect except civil .For civil engineering most of the core companies that comes recruit for sales profile not civil engineering profile. If any IT company comes ,Civil is the only field which is not eligible except Wipro .Out of total students of civil engineering batch ,only 1 or 2 students get placed and that not in civil but on different field like marketing or sales. Apart from placement ,Labs are good as far as cs field is concerned.Faculties are good and supportive .College environment is nice .Companies come in large number mainly for IT jobs . Various recruiter during 2016- 2017 session are Microsoft ,Uber, Tata technologies, Tech mahindra ,Cognizant ,Wipro etc One can check it from www.amity.edu where all companies that comes for recruitment along with the results are disclosed. So , if one wants to make a career in cs field ,one can rely on amity university as there is lot of oppurtunities for cs students to get placed .and with good package. If one desire to choose other fields except civil ,then there are good chances of getting placed (in IT companies). If one desire to choose civil engineering ,then 99% chances are you will get unplaced no matter you are the topper of the batch or has good academics. However ,the faculties of the civil engineering in Amity University are good and very supportive. So those who want to choose amity university ,be very attentive and serious what field to choose .Take help from www.amity.edu where you can analyze about recruitment in different branches and then take which branch you need to take as decisions made today will have an impact tommorrow. Goodluck

Plenty of exposure for aspirants and a stunning college life

amity university nowadays has become a brand in private institutions so whenever opting for amity in some decent courses wouldn't be regrettable. i am a btech (cse) student over here for two years and things have went quite well for me.i landed in amity due to my low score in jee mains and so being an NCR student , it was pretty comfortable to get in here. you just need to give an interview and small English test for formality and you're in. dont worry if you landed at amity and you aspire for more , at amity you get a lot of exposure and platform to prove yourself. hostel over here are fine. i wouldn't say very good but non ac hostels are a bit of an issue as they are very compact and stuff. campus life- AMAZING. you get to see a lot of celeb-fun , activities , fests , corporate meets , sports meet , multi continental programs , foreign programs , projects and researches , etc. infra is damn good - ac all over , cafetarias for each blocks , food chains such as subway , dominoes , CCD , amul , bikano , dosa plaza for appetite comfort , tech-gym , huge library , multilevel parking , swimming pool , sports fields for almost every regular sport, etc. life is stunning , you gotta enjoy a lot. when it comes to placements , its a really important and difficult thing for non hard workers as getting a good placement totally depend on you're caliber.people get good placements only if they know stuff. chances are there that if you don't put an effort you can remain unplaced .student diversity is amazing . people from different parts of india are here so festival celebrations are quite diverse and fun to be in.college can be pretty difficult when it comes to affordability as its expensive , no doubt. sustaining an expensive life is also a thing as students are generally from richer families so you got to adjust you pocket.i love the sort of things flow over here as they're fun, genuine , and being an mba aspirant i have a lot of opportunity to seek and grab. no other college provides you with that. societies are also fun.but if you want to achieve some thing , its really hard as compared to other colleges which offer you 100% placments . so be ready to willingly work. rest i'm all satisfied but a little bit afraid 'bout the placements . all in all nicest place to be in delhi-NCR.

1.The well bound infrastructure holds a world class central library that is a visual treat once you enter it , it has squash court , shooting range , basket ball courts , horse riding range , football , gym, swimming pool and etc based upon international standards. 2.Courses like 3 continent program aims for better corporate exposure on the very international level and to enhance the exposure students are involved in CEO meets , industry visits and several personality development tasks. 3.The campus feels like a world inside the boundaries measuring 4.5 million sq.ft and the crowd is just so amazing , there are lots of things happening inside the campus , you will never get bored in the campus, life here is always fun unless you don't have any attendance issues. 4.Amity guarantees 100% placements though the placements are not always enjoyed by everyone, the institution needs to bring down the high level placement in the campus. 5.The exaggerating hostel fees needs to be brought down as it is the only main concern about it, otherwise the facilities are good. 6.The professors are quite syllabus oriented and they really need to put in more effort to get students in the research field. 7.The crowd is so amazing , the nerve of the institution is the amazing crowd , it is cheerful and as it is said you will never get bored in the campus , the crowd is very much alike the one you saw in Student of the Year movie. 8.The college is a bit harsh on your pockets as the fees is quite high but , if you want to spend the fabulous years of your degree , then Amity is the place for you. The fees will be well utilized if you know how to swim in the ocean of opportunities in the campus.

It's a good place for studious kids because the attendance system makes sure you won't miss a class. However, that is also the biggest flaw. Sticking to the positives, Amity has great infrastructure compared to other private universities. The School of Communication has a large, fully functional radio-cum-Tv-studio set up which is very useful for practical learning. The faculty come straight from the industry...most of them teach from personal experiences in the industry. All in all, a good academic atmosphere.

They suggest you good things to do in future. Amity has a concept of "Sangathan' where any one can showcase his or her talents irrespective of you are student or faculty.

Amity university has a great infrastructure with fully air conditioner and wifi support. It provide us international exposure. Give us the oppurtunity to interact with scientists and professor throughout the world. I had participated in the CONFLUENCE held in january, 2017 in Amity as well where we met many professors and scientists. It give chance to student for good recruitment. Many companies come here for jobs. Faculties are good. They are very approachable. You can go and just have a talk to them on any topic and they will give an advice which suits best according to the person. They also teach the way to get in touch with companies. Amity has a big hostel area, almost 40% of population stay in hostel. College crowd is also great. I should say amity is a good university.

One of the best in infrastructures ,a huge campus. They have been introducing an advanced way of learning day by day. The only problem is the attendance criteria i.e. of 75% . Also ,the events are real fun. There a number of norms you HAVE TO follow to make your life easy in Amity. A lot of subjects help you gain a lot of credits if you are thinking about studying further outside India. It's good to be a part of such a prestigious group of institutions.

College life is great here and the staff is very good but it would have been good if there was more industry exposure and there was more of practicality.I think more of focus of practical teaching must be taken care of and if this is sorted the college can grow out in masses to it's huge reach and exposure.

Amity is a good college. It provides good exposure and placement and everything you need in campus it self. But it's not that affordable. In amity you have so many subjects that you don't get time for anything else. There is so much pressure and also some subjects which are not related to your course but you have to study them and this is very bad. You have everything in campus it self but it's expensive and also you don't get time to do much things because of your so many subjects. The best thing is that amity provides you very good placements.

The college has a good infrastructure. The greatest advantage is the location of the college which helps for industry exposure. The faculty is good especially for marketing. Return of investment is good as the placements are good. Only con is that the student intake, which creates great competition for placements. But a number of companies visiting campus is very good.

Amity- The best

Batch of 2018 | BBA Finance and Accounting
Infrastructure- best in class/ better then any private institution or college in the whole region. facilities- Great facilities, you will get everything inside the campus. from beauty salon to high-tech research facility labs, a very good central library swimming pool, shooting lane and other sports facilities, in fact, there's nothing which you can't get inside amity Noida campus. faculties- Most of the faculties are above average along with some good and some very good faculties also. safety and security- One of the SAFEST & MOST SECURE institution in DELHI NCR whether it's about women safety or anti-ragging norms or anything, they're very serious about it. Classes and Education- above average along with some good courses and they are also an introductory institution for some of the international and research courses for ex. AMITY UNIVERSITY is the first to introduce Nanotechnology courses in India. Course and Syllabus curriculum- Very good syllabus and course design, in fact, best in class ( you will have to compulsorily study a foreign language, communication skills and behavioural sciences course with every programme). They have every course & programme running inside the campus which you can dream for. co-curricular Activities - Best in class , no comparisons with any other institutions. that's the sole reason why amity Noida students get smarter then anyone else, they provide every possible way to enhance the personality of a student along with education. However, Amity Noida campus is having a lot of institutions running inside it since it's a University so each institution is having it's own good and bad.

Faculty of finance and accounting is one of the best here. There is a scope for more industry exposure. The college needs to improve its corporate connection.

The college is only recommended for a few courses. Some courses are compulsory even though they are under the category of the elective. Sometimes one has to study subjects which have no relevance to the degree. Some lecturers have no idea how to deliver lectures. Bias nature of lecturers is common. The results are kept confidential even though they're checked by the teachers of the same institute. Some stupid formulas are used to calculate the student's CGPA. Poor administration by the people running the institute. No help whatsoever is given to students facing problems with training and jobs. moreover, No background check is done as to which student is genuinely working in the training.

The college infrastructure and facilities excels undoubtedly in all parameters. The most annoying thing is zero industry exposure. Especially when practical courses like architecture are taken into consideration exposure is one of the main things. Apart from the exposure faculty is good and hardworking as well. The strictness of the attendance makes sure (forces) students attend the college at all cost which is obviously very much important. Sometimes that many rules and regulations can be annoying for students but I assume most of them are beneficial as well.

Great Knowledge Innovative Minds

It has a wonderful infrastructure which binds the different courses in one boundary. It promotes anti-ragging. The faculty is good. The strictness towards attendance is appreciable.Knowledge as well as co-curricular activities both goes hand in hand.Students can learn different subjects and foreign language as well. The idea of keeping the student motivated and involved with the activities going around the department and campus like Sangathan and Amity Youth Fest helps to deal with the real world around. It makes the students indulge in the activities apart from studies which help to become an all-rounder.The faculty is very friendly and helpful inside and outside the class. The system of working of this university goes with the advancing technology like using ppts to learn,it has a proper site of his own on which each student have their account to get updated with the classes and the university information as well. This is quite acknowledged. Moreover, the placements and packages provided by the Amity are good.Though it's a private university but then it's worth the price comparing from every grounds like from faculty, infrastructure, study, performance, overall development etc.

The best of both world at Amity- academia and student's life

Posted on 08 Sep' 16 by Pallavi Kashyap
Batch of 2019
It has been two years since I joined Amity. The experience at Amity of the last two years is a bag full of highs and lows like any other experience of my life. First of all I would like to break the myth that since I am a student of a private university, attendance is not mandatory for me and other students. The attendance criterion here is very rigid and is strictly followed by our teachers and students. We have to attend at least three-fourth of the total classes in every subject scheduled for that semester. Touching upon other salient features of my university, we have a large campus area, large car parking space, spacious and airy classrooms etc. Every department here is offered a separate block so that chaoses of no type are created on the campus. Talking about the academia and sports, we have a large strength of highly qualified faculties, teaching more than 15000 students under various programmes which include law, engineering, bio-technology etc. Sports at Amity are given high preferences. Every year, we have a sports event called ‘’Sangathan” in which number of students from university participate. Number of other events also occurs on a regular basis. Among the few drawbacks here, is the hectic schedule of students and teachers. If this issue is resolved, it will be a huge relief for everyone. The other issue is of large student-teacher ratio.

The amity law school is divided into 2 parts and both the parts are jealous of each other, one doesn't want the other's students to do well. The faculty is less involved in teaching rather other of their work. They will come to class if they want to or when they want to. The fee is too much according to what is offered.
