Hi

Admission in DTU is through JAC delhi counselling conducted on the basis of jee main.

Yes, if you don't want to get admission this year, then you can obviously not attempt jee main 2022 , take a drop and then appear directly in jee main 2023 and then can get admission in DTU.

Moreover, you are even eligible for jee main 2024 as well

This is because,

One can give JEE Mains entrance examination for a maximum of 3 consecutive years starting from the year of passing 12th board examination.

Now, your 12th passing year is 2022

So, you

  • eligible for jee main 2022

  • eligible jee main 2023

  • eigible jee main 2024 as well .

In jac Delhi counselling,

Seats are alloted on the basis of jee main crl rank.

  • 85% seats are reserved for Delhi region  students ( those who have passed 12th from Delhi) .

  • while the rest  15% seats are available for outside Delhi students ( those who have passed 12th from outside Delhi) .

Here are the details regarding the diploma courses at DTU-

1. The Diploma programmes at DTU are aimed at adults who have completed a relevant qualifying education minimum at the level of a business academy education or a relevant higher education and after that at least two years of relevant job experience.

Hope it helps.. If you have any other questions feel free to post it here..

Specifically in civil engineering a lots of students have appeared in gate exam. So we can't predict anything by just looking into the pervious year cutoff. I think you will get a admission call from DTU by looking into previous year cutoff, but can't be assured that same trend of score will be followed this year. For more information you can refer the link below:-

https://www.engineering.careers360.com/articles/dtu-mtech-cutoff

There are 50-50 chances/possibilities to get a seat in DTU or not in Civil Engineering.

Thank you!

Hello aspirant,

Looking into last year's cut off, it was 187814  for the ECE branch for SC category in home state. The cut off varies every year according to the hardness of questions and number of students attending the exam. so for this year the cut off is not yeat released but it will be around last year's cut off so you can have the idea. Hello Navya,

Hope you are doing well.

As per your query, Delhi Technological University doesn't offer course in BCA. Here is the link to the list of courses offered by DTU:

https://www.careers360.com/university/delhi-technological-university-delhi/courses

However, Delhi Techical Campus offers course in BCA, its eligibility criteria for this course is as such:

Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* with a pass in English (core or elective or functional). Mathematics or (Computer Science / Informatics Practice / Computer Applications / Multimedia & Web Technology / Data Management Application / Web Application as compulsory subject of non-vocational stream with 50 theory and 50 practical ratio). OR Three-year Diploma in a branch of Engineering from a polytechnic duly approved by All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to a recognized examining body with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Hope this helps you. All the best!

Hi there,

Yes you can take drop and can get yourself into Delhi technical University. It completely depends upon you whether you wished to study in right after your class 12 th or want to take a drop for a better college.

Male sure to make your drop year the most productive since if you donot take your drop year seriously then you will not be able to get good colleges.

Also taking a two year drop is not good because soke big companeis donot allow candidates to have more than one year drop after class 12th.

Hope this information will help you

Thank you and very good luck:))
