Hello there ,
I would suggest you to go for Chandigarh university for aerospace engineering as it is having a dedicated space for that stream where as in IPU this stream is new as well as not available in good colleges of IPU like MAIT , MSIT etc.
Hence it would be more appropriate for you to do your desired stream from Chandigarh university.
You can also find out your future college on basis of jee main score using the link given below-

I hope this helps.
Regards
Madhur

Considering your JEE Mains rank of 1.16 lakh and percentile of 92.2, let's evaluate the options:

Option 1: IPE in NIT Jalandhar

- Branch: Instrumentation and Process Engineering (IPE) might not be as popular as CSE or ECE, but it's a niche field with good job prospects.

- College: NIT Jalandhar is a reputable institution with a good rating (4.1/5).

Option 2: CSE in UIET Hoshiarpur

- Branch: Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is a highly sought-after field with excellent job opportunities.

- College: UIET Hoshiarpur is affiliated with Punjab University, and its CSE program has a rating of 3.7/5.

Option 3: ECE in CCET Chandigarh

- Branch: Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is a core branch with good job prospects.

- College: CCET Chandigarh is located in a prime location, offering access to various opportunities, and has a better faculty compared to UIET Hoshiarpur. ECE at CCET is considered better than most courses.

Based on the information, here's a suggestion:

- If you're interested in CSE, UIET Hoshiarpur might be a good option, but consider the college's reputation and placement record.

- If you're inclined towards ECE, CCET Chandigarh seems like a better choice due to its location, faculty, and placement opportunities.

- IPE in NIT Jalandhar is also a viable option if you're interested in the instrumentation and process engineering field.

Ultimately, prioritize your interests and career goals when making a decision. Consider factors like college culture, location, and alumni network in addition to branch and college reputation.

Hello Sachin,

Since you already have a 30% scholarship offer from Chandigarh University and Lovely Professional University (LPU) , and you’ve appeared for MH-CET and COMEDK , here’s a quick guide to help you decide:

Consider Admission in Chandigarh University Now If:

  • The 30% scholarship significantly reduces your fees, making it affordable.

  • You want to secure a seat early without risking seat availability.

  • You’re satisfied with the course, faculty, infrastructure, and placements at Chandigarh University.

  • The admission deadline at Chandigarh University is approaching soon.

  • Wait for COMEDK Result If:

  • You expect a better rank in COMEDK, which may give you access to more reputed colleges or better branches.

  • You want to explore admission in other private engineering colleges in Karnataka through COMEDK counseling.

  • You are ready to take a chance on seat availability and deadlines.

    Additional Tips:

  • Check the fees and scholarship offers carefully for all options.

  • Compare placement records and infrastructure of Chandigarh University vs potential colleges through COMEDK.

  • Confirm the last date for admission at Chandigarh University to avoid missing out.

  • Keep in mind that COMEDK counseling generally starts after results are declared, so you can wait if your admission timelines allow.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.

Hii,

In certain cases, Chandigarh University admits B.Tech students directly without requiring an entrance exam. Your grades in the 12th grade, particularly in math, physics, and chemistry, as well as other factors like your JEE score or management quota, will determine this.

However, since admissions policies can change annually, it is best to check their official website or get in touch with the university to find out the precise requirements for the year you wish to enroll.

You Can  Visit Website for more information - https://www.cuchd.in/ (https://www.cuchd.in/?utm_source=chatgpt.com)

Hii,

If you seek good placement, stronger professors, and more exposure, SRM is the superior option for BTech CSE with AIML.  It has a large campus, many events, and major corporations come to hire.  Chandigarh University (CU) is likewise good, although not as strong as SRM in terms of overall rankings and industrial partnerships.

Choose SRM if you can afford the tuition and want to improve your chances of landing a tech career.  Choose CU if you want a low-cost choice with good quality.  Both are private, but SRM is one step ahead.

  • Chandigarh University (CU) : www.cuchd.in (https://www.cuchd.in/)

  • SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) : www.srmist.edu.in (https://www.srmist.edu.in/)

If you have mistakenly selected "Bachelor of Engineering CS - Lateral Entry" while filling the CUCET (Chandigarh University) form but you do not want lateral entry, then there is no need to worry. You can follow the following steps to correct this mistake:

  • Contact the University Helpline or Admission Cell immediately. Explain your problem in detail on the helpline number or email (admissions@cumail.in) given on the official website of Chandigarh University.
  • Tell them that it was a genuine mistake during form-filling and you want to apply for regular B.E./B.Tech CS.
  • In most cases, the university allows correction or manually edits your application.
  • Also, you can fill a new form if required, but it is better to confirm with the university first.

Important Tip: Always check all the details carefully once before final submission, so that such mistake does not happen again.

Chandigarh University (CU) admits students to its law programs based on their performance in the Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET), not the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). To be eligible for admission, candidates must have completed their Bachelor's degree in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks.

Therefore, CU does not accept CUET scores for law admissions; instead, it requires candidates to take and qualify in the CUCET.

Yes, Chandigarh University (CU) offers law scholarships through:

CUCET Scholarship – Based on entrance exam scores.

Merit-Based – High scores in 12th, CLAT, or LSAT.

Sports/Defense Quota – For eligible candidates.

SC/ST & EWS Scholarships – As per government norms.

If you can do a little more hardwork, you can get the best of the best collection do mMCA in Cyber Security program like  IITs, IISCs particularly Delhi, Kharagpur, Roorkee, etc

After them VIT is a good choice to pursue cybersecurity.

Hello,

Yes, you may still be allowed to give the EST (End Semester Test), but it depends on the university's rules regarding attendance and internal exams .

Since you missed both MSTs, you might need special permission from your department or the exam cell. It would be best to contact your professors or the examination department as soon as possible and explain your situation. If medical reasons are valid, they might consider it.

Hope it helps !
