The college campus is beautiful but unfortunately, the same can't be said for the rest. The faculty isn't that good, the infrastructure is worse, the curriculum is terrible. Dtu must have been great when it was Dce but now its as bad as any other private college

Everything is so good here, from seniors to faculty. College looks so beautiful.at sunset too. Everything is fine including cheap and affordable canteen. There are 3 canteens which will never left u hungry. U can go to maggi baba even at 2am in night to have delicious maggi with tea. Beleive there is no placein north india like DTU.

DTU is amongst the top State funded institutes of the country. Let me first touch the bright side. The Campus is full of Greenery and is remarkably beautiful. From the sports complex to the DTU Lake the College will not disappoint you in terms of its rich Fauna and Flora. Peacocks, Monkeys, Birds, Cows, Mongoose,Dogs ;P are found in abundance. It is rumored that 100Cr has been spent by administration for infrastructure since 2009. Indeed, the Roads at good for Skateboarders and Cyclists. Secondly, the College life is amazing.. Campus is connected to the Delhi city yet is far from the pollution in the Capital. HKV , CP , Murthal, Gurgaon are the places we usually go to party. The crowd is decet as misty are Delhiites. You have the freedom to explore different dimensions. College conducts many Societies and Festivals ranging from Art Fest, Literary Fest, TEDeX to Cultural(Engi Fest) and TechFest. You have a lot of free time for a person to hone his skills be it Coding, Art, Dance, Management Leadership and other Soft skills. Placements are decent and many opt for further studies too. IIMs , IITs, Stanford, Michigan are a few of the places where some of the seniors went last year whom I know. DTU is by some students to access the Coaching institutes in Delhi for UPSE, IES, GATE and other exams. Electrical Engineering Deptt. conducts regular workshops and Practical Industrial sessions but is supposed to be most strict in terms of Attendance requirement. College provides enough exposure and facilities for a student to pursue his dreams and ambitions. Senior junior relationship is amazing. About the hostel food..."We basically get fed;P". Now the other side, The Hostel facility is available for only around 750 Students out of 7500. Major part of College life is missed by the DayScholars. GIRLS CURFEW time ,9pm is the time when girls are forced back into the hostels. The DTU Lake area is not maintained and unexplored. The faculty reviewing system and lab equipment renewal system must be improved. But I'm quite confident these issues will get resolved in a few years. The University currently , with the energetic students and under the dynamic leadership of Mr.Yogesh Kumar is pacing in the upward trajectory like never before.

College life was amazing had a ton of fun. The faculty and department of Eee are the toughest though time table was very hectic some days 9 to 4 with one hour break and by some days i mean 3 days a week but we managed to seek fun. Some profs are very supporting but some are extremely rude and arrogant and no complaint system. Papers very very tough. Needed to study on on. Youtube was the professor. Fest times were super amazing a whole new vibe and lot of events to take in lot of good societies. If you just don't want to mug of formulas DTU is heaven. But please don't take eee please go for ece of ee. Otherwise placement is good too if you are worth of one.

Dtu (formerly dce) is a great college, provides immense exposure, opportunities and awesome experiences. Infrastructure is regularly updated and is relatively new. Faculty part is same as that of most colleges in our country, nothing much to be said. Takes admission on the basis of jee mains all india rank. Has 85% quota for delhi candidates. Outside delhi candidates for about max. 20k all india rank have chances of admission. This is a relative number and can change every year. Hostels are relatively better. Excellent first year hostel internet speed, probably one of the best in the country. Attendance is a bit of an issue as most of the crpwd doesn't want to attemd classes and the 75% criterion is quite strict. Some branches have a relaxed course whereas some have extremely rigorous which may feel like a burden sometimes.
