A candidate must have Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
B.Tech Lateral Entry: Three-year regular diploma in any branch of engineering awarded by any state board of technical education/diploma recognized by AICTE, Delhi.
Admission to B.Tech Program is made through Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) on the basis of the rank obtained in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) conducted by the NTA.
DTU offers a clean and well-maintained campus with modern academic blocks and spacious labs. The library is impressive and hostels are decent with good basic facilities. Green spaces and wide roads give the campus an open, comfortable feel.
DTU’s infrastructure blends older academic blocks with modern labs and digital classrooms. The campus feels large, green, and open, with well-kept pathways. Though some buildings show age, upgrades are frequent, and the library and research centers stand out for quality.
DTU’s infrastructure feels spacious and functional, with large classrooms and steadily updated labs. The greenery across the campus adds a peaceful vibe. Some older structures show wear, but overall the campus supports smooth academic and daily activities.
