B.Tech Chemical Engineering - Batch of 2030-01-01
Academics
I'm a Chemical Engineering 1st year student. The teachers are well experienced and understand the students well. The teachers are very knowledgeable in their subjects. But there are also some teachers, where it becomes a little difficult to understand. The curriculum is well structured and up to date. The teachers and seniors really help the students to become job-ready and build a good profile.
College Infra
DTU provides most of the basic facilities and equipment required for the courses provided. The classrooms are big and spacious. Some classrooms, theirs desks, ceiling and air conditioning is better than some of the other ones. But, the overall infrastructure and design of the campus is really good. The campus includes a big sports complex, having volleyball, basketball, tennis, table tennis, badminton courts and football, cricket, athletics ground. It also includes gym, library and much more. There are many laboratories, and they're in a decent condition, all instruments have been provided. The campus remains clean and some places have good food, while others don't have as such.
Campus Life
The campus life is the best part of the college. It is really happening, the societies are really active. They keep the students engaged in different events, activities and help the students by providing the right opportunities. There is a society for almost all interests of a student. There are many guest speakers and events that keep going on in the college and make college life really enjoyable.
Placements
From chemical department, a major share of students are placed in core companies for roles like consulting, analytics, finance, etc., while some students, who build a strong profile with programming skills and knowledge on data structures and algorithms can sit for many software and tech roles, provided they clear company criteria. The average package of the department is 8-11 lpa and the highest package goes around 16-24 lpa. The placement rate is around 70-90% for eligible students.
Value For Money
The college does provide an amazing experience in terms of college life, societies, events, infrastructure and much more. Everything is really enjoyable but there is a bit problem with the annual fees. Although, it's still less than many private colleges but still a lot for a government college.

It is one of the top college of Delhi. The quality of teaching is very good. There are highly educated teachers. The curriculum is updated and includes all recent developments. My course also makes me job ready .
College Infra
College consists of all necessities, great infrastructure, all facilities including AC ,smart board, Wifi ,sports centres, gym, hostel, libraries, laboratories, and all of them are well maintained and in excellent condition
Placements
The placements provided by my college are very good. The average package of colleges 12 to 14 LPA and the average package of Mahesh branch is 14 to 16 LPA and placement percent is about 80 to 90%. The highest package offered by my college is 86 LPA.

A vibrant and exciting campus life is lived across different colleges if delhi university , multiple fests college events competitions and various other activities

Every college falling under delhi university has a good placement rate where reputed companies come for hiring offering nice packages to students every year , very duverse and nice opportunities are provided to students
