Dear Student ,

It is very difficult to predict any exact cut off for confirming admission as each year the cut off can change due to several factors like :

  • Seat Matrix
  • No of Students appeared for the exam
  • Difficulty level of the exam

Well, as per previous year JEE Advanced cut off details , cut off for Female EWS category in Individual B.Tech streams are as follows :

  • Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering- 2356
  • Chemical Engineering-1331
  • Civil Engineering-1543
  • Computer Science and Engineering-105
  • Electrical Engineering-450
  • Electrical Engineering (Power and Automation)-478
  • Engineering and Computational Mechanics-1263
  • Materials Engineering-2162
  • Mechanical Engineering-1226
  • Production and Industrial Engineering-2106
  • Textile Technology -2650

To know the cut off in details , refer this :

Hope this helps !

Hello Aspirant,

As we go through the latest cut-offs o f 2021 then it shows that the closing EWS rank was 30 for gender-neutral (Male) and 105 for Female-only (including Supernumerary)  for CSE branch in IIT Delhi.

See it is quite difficult to tell you about exact marks to score because for JEE-Advance no maximum marks are fixed but yes with regards to JEE-Advance 2022 if you secure your AIR in JEE-Advance under top 30(if male and under 100 if female) in EWS category then there would be good chances for you to get CSE branch in IIT Delhi .

You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://josaa.admissions.nic.in/Counseling/seatallotmentresult/currentorcr.aspx

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

As you are preparing for JEE-Main or JEE-Advance then I would recommend you to check the resources made by our experts to help aspirants like you in the best and smart preparation of JEE-Main or JEE-Advance :-

Good Luck!!

Hello Aspirant,

See admission to B.Tech. courses in IIT Delhi is done on the basis of JEE-Advance score and to appear in JEE-Advance you must qualify JEE-Main. With 68% marks in class 12th you are eligible for JEE-Advance provided that you qualified JEE-Main as well for that year and on the basis of that JEE-Advance score you can get admission in IIT Delhi if you meets the cut-off rank for it.

For IIT Delhi there is no any specific criteria of percentage required in class 12th, but you only need to be pass in class 12th.

Maximum attempts allowed for JEE-Advance is 2 in 2 consecutive years, first attempt in the passing year of class 12th or equivalent examination and second attempt in very next year to that. Similarly for JEE-Main maximum attempts allowed for JEE-Main is 3 in 3 consecutive years, first attempt in the passing year of class 12th or equivalent examination and second attempt in very next year to that followed by third attempt in third year.

Hello Aspirant,

Hope you are doing great. The Hostel fee are different and separate from the tuition fees. Hostel fee includes Mess, room and other amenities involved etc. The hostel fee for the IIT Delhi is 35000 for an year and a total of 1,35,000 is charged for 4 years.

All the best

Hello,

Last year the cut off for OBC-NCL category was as follows for admission to Computer Science Engineering in Indian Institute of Technology Delhi

  • Male: 84
  • Female: 340
  • PWD: 5

To check the previous year cut off use the link below

https://josaa.nic.in/Counseling/seatallotmentresult/currentorcr.aspx

Considering the cut off you need to secure category rank under 100 if you are a male candidate, around 340 if you are female candidate. Cut off is subjected to change, it may increase or decrease depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

It is quite difficult to predict the marks that you need to score because the total marks for JEE ADVANCED vary every and the marks vs rank trend also vary. To secure such rank you need to score minimum 50-55% of total marks. This is the estimated score the actual rank may vary with the given score.

Hi

First of all I would like to clear that admission in IITs is completely on the basis of rank obtained in JEE advanced but yes you need to qualify JEE main in order to be eligible for JEE advanced.

Being from SC category to be on the safer side you need to target at least around 50 percentile in jee main in order to qualify it to be eligible for JEE advanced

For example,

Minimum percentile in jee main 2021 to qualify it to be eligible for jee advanced is given below :-

--------) general :-87.8992241 percentile

--------) EWS:- 66.2214845 percentile

--------) OBC-NCL :- 68.0234447 percentile

--------) SC :- 46.8825338 percentile

--------) ST:- 34.6728999 percentile

--------) PWD :- 0.0096375 percentile

You can check the same at our page the link is provided below

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff

Coming to rank required in jee advanced to get IIT Delhi,

Making  prediction is difficult as  cutoff  depends upon various factors like :-

-----------) number of students/ candidates  that appeared in the  jee advanced exam,

-----------) number of available seats,

-----------) jee advanced examination difficulty level.

-----------) the branch you want,

-----------) the category you belong etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then,

Jee advanced 2021 cut off/closing rank is given below:-

  • Indian Institute of Technology Delhi:- 1836 sc rank  and it was for Textile Technology (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology)

So, you need at least around 1800 sc rank in jee advanced for IIT Delhi.

You can check the closing ranks  at official website of josaa by going through the link given below

Dear aspirant,

As you have scored 351 in gate 2022 and considering you belong to obc category let me tell you that there are factors that is needed to be considered like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

I would like to request to kindly write the full form for ES so that I can guide you more appropriately for this branch. Generally the cut off for most of the branches is upto 700 and not more than that.

For more information you can check out the link given below-

Dear student,

As you have not mentioned your Caste Category, I'm considering it as General Category and providing information based on it.

Previous year's cut-offs for Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi are listed below for B.E/ B.Tech Computer Science Engineering branch.

Opening Rank - 3

Closing Rank - 100

But cut-offs varies from year to year and depends on many factors like

  • Seat Matrix
  • Number of students appeared in the exam
  • Difficulty level of the exam
  • Caste Category of the candidates
  • Previous year's cut-off trend

For Official cut-off go through below mentioned link.

You can predict Colleges you can get using below mentioned College Predictor Tool.

Hello aspirant,

I hope that you are doing absolutely great

With reference to your above mentioned query, i would like to tell you that The JEE mains cutoff keeps varying every year and is different for different category students. It also varies from colleges to colleges. So, it's quite difficult to predict precise what's the cutoff that is required to get a seat in NIT Delhi.

The cutoff trends depends on various factors like :

  • Number of candidates appeared for the exam.

  • Number of seats available.

  • Difficulty level of JEE Main exam.

  • Previous year JEE Main cutoff trends.

However, looking at the previous year cutoff trends, the minimum marks and cutoff ranks that is required to get into NIT Delhi is around 1k-10k to be on safer side. This is still a prediction and the actual ranks and percentile score may vary.

Further, for more information about Jee mains cutoff, you can follow the below mentioned link :

I hope that this will help.
