The college does have most necessary infrastructure including great classrooms, sanitary locations, and a huge area to roam in. The classes do have smart boards, has wifi and well maintained especially the first year block.
Im studying electrical engineering here since that's all I got and I have somewhat of a decent interest in circuits. The quality of teaching is fine although the students have to depend a lot on their self study.
The quality of placements in the CS, IT sector has been booming rapidly while the core branches have been going steady. Avg package for electrical is 9lpa. And the highest salary goes to the CSAI branch
Average college infrastructure often focus on outdated facilities, poorly maintained buildings, and inadequate resources. Students frequently report dissatisfaction with limited classroom space, aging furniture, and unreliable internet connectivity, which can hinder their learning experience. Libraries might lack updated resources, with insufficient books, journals, and online databases. Inadequate laboratory equipment, outdated technology, and limited access to modern tools in science and engineering departments are also common concerns, impacting hands-on learning opportunities. Campus amenities, such as cafeterias, recreational facilities, and study areas, might be scarce or poorly managed. Issues like unhygienic washrooms, lack of air conditioning, and insufficient seating in common areas further diminish the college experience. Safety concerns may arise from poor lighting and security measures around the campus, creating a sense of vulnerability among students. Transportation and accessibility issues, including limited parking and unreliable public transportation options, can add further stress for students. Moreover, a lack of investment in infrastructure improvements suggests that college administration might prioritize other areas over student comfort and educational support. Ultimately, substandard infrastructure impacts not only students' daily lives but also their academic performance and overall satisfaction with their college experience.
A college with a tough academic reputation can be both a rewarding and challenging experience for students. Courses at such institutions are often rigorous, demanding a high level of commitment, discipline, and intellectual engagement. Students frequently report that the workload is intense, with frequent assignments, exams, and projects that require consistent effort and time management skills. The grading standards tend to be strict, with professors expecting deep comprehension and critical analysis rather than simple memorization. While these rigorous academic standards can foster a strong work ethic and resilience, some students may find the pressure overwhelming. The competitive environment can lead to stress and burnout, especially when students struggle to balance academics with extracurriculars or personal obligations. Office hours and faculty support are essential, but some students feel that professors may not always be available or approachable, which adds to their challenges. Despite the demanding curriculum, many students acknowledge the value of the education they receive, noting that it prepares them well for future careers or graduate studies. However, the high academic expectations may not be suitable for everyone, and prospective students should consider whether they thrive in high-pressure environments before committing to such a college.
Colleges with decent placement records offer students solid, if not exceptional, opportunities for employment post-graduation. While not every student lands a top-tier position, most graduates find jobs that match their qualifications and provide a reasonable starting point in their chosen fields. Placement cells at these institutions typically have connections with a variety of companies, from mid-sized firms to a few reputable industry players, which ensures a steady stream of job options across different sectors. Companies visiting these campuses often hire for entry-level roles with average salary packages that are competitive but may not be industry-leading. Internship opportunities are usually available and provide valuable experience, but the college may not always have as many high-profile internship partners as top-tier institutions do. Support for skill development and interview preparation is generally available, though it might vary by department. For students with realistic expectations, a college with decent placements can be a good option, especially if they plan to gain experience and later pursue higher studies or explore other career pathways. The placements might not guarantee top positions, but with the right effort, students can secure roles that allow them to grow professionally and build their careers progressively.
Good for placement pov.
This college is one of the best college in Delhi among engineering colleges, what i found best here the infrastructure that they have made it is of very good quality and I liked the classrooms and labs.
Academics is of very high level the college have best academics. I like the subjects they have and the way the professors teach they are very humble to students so I would prefer this college have best academics.
NSUT have the best placements in engineering colleges there are many companies like Google, microsoft and Adobe etc that come here for placements and offer very high packages so placement rate is very good here.
Infrastructure is really nice ahhh idk bro what to write except yes tho let's get into the details classrooms are quite average, it all depends on your luck if you'll get a smartclass with AC and projector or a boring classroom with fans which ain't even work lmao
Academics are good professors are too strict basicaly you'll have attending classes and the 75% attendance criteria is just too too strict and nobody will entertain you even if you die low attendance and back
Quite average in recent times when I joined this uni placement stats were nice and tempting but now they suck recession or whatever but till date placements ain't that good we are all so much cooked but we roll
Idk why I'm paying this much amount tbh
That's fun societies, fests and all are cool tho lack canteens
Choose branch wisely
Netaji Subhash University of technology is one the best college for engineering as its infrastructure is too good, alll the rooms has fully air conditioning and has a proper ventilation system I must recommend this college to everyone.
As Netaji Subhash University of technology is India's one of the best college for engineering and has a perfect academics, all the deans for academics are good and all the professors are best in class for teaching
Netaji Subhash University of technology has overall good statistics in placement and over 50% students gets placed every year with a package of 20lpa and over. All the stats are good and genunine and we can get easily placed..
Yess the infrastructure, sports, cultural activities, festivalls, concerts , alll are good value for money and I can recommend that one should get enrolled in university and It is value for money as we get all the facilities
Campus life is awesome as Netaji Subhash University of technology has a 150 acre campus , it has a big sports area , student activity center, fountains , two very big grounds which is value for money and we can enjoy our campus life
Over it is a best college.
The college has both AC and non AC classrooms, the lab equipments are somewhat okay and there are course materials available in the library however no fiction books can be found there. The hostels have decent living conditions.
The permanent and guest faculty both teach very well. The course curriculum includes a wide range of topics helping us prepare for future jobs in the relevant field. The curriculum is up to date and the faculty tries to inculcate interactive ways of teaching.
While B.tech placements are top notch, BBA being a recent category has its placement level on the beginner stage. The percentage of placements for BBA are very less and most of the students do not choose to sit for placements either due to higher studies.
The course costs around 1 lpa which is fine for the academic knowledge I guess.
The infrastructure is very good in terms of academics and for other co-curricular activities. Also the authorities responsible are improving it day by day with better facilities. The college is equipped with air conditioned classrooms, wifi and smart boards helping in better academic teaching as well as well being of the student.
Honestly the bunch of people here are very good making it a good environment to study. While we do have good professors, some of them don't want to teach and waste the time by making us do unnecessary tasks that cannot be termed as productive in any manner.
The placements of our college is very good. This college is very famous for its placement and gives a very high paying start to an individual. About 70-80 percent of students gets placed here. While it is competitive but you will get through if you work evenly hard.
Being a government college asking to pay a good amount is sometimes shocking to hear and know as I had to pay around 9+ Lakhs for getting my Btech done. And this amount is increasing each year as the years pass by. Per year fees is around 2.5 Lakhs now. This does not include hostel fees.
The campus life here is quite good with a list of societies involved in making new events possible and the fests that this college provides you with. It is surely one of those campuses that will add new and new memories in your life. While sometimes the management and admin of this college causes problems in getting the events done at the right pace it should have been done.
It is surely a college which will help you get to heights. And I will recommend if you want to have a good college life. You need to explore your way through the societies you join and the friendships that you get in the way.
NSUT's infrastructure is very good. The campus spans over 145 acres of land and has multiple buildings for different departments. The facilities like air-conditioned rooms, Wi-Fi, and smart boards are also provided. The campus is very hygienic and well organised.
I am currently a 3rd year student at NSUT. I am pursuing B.Tech in mathematics and computing which is a specialization branch in CSE. The teaching of my course is quite good. The teachers are skilled and highly qualified and the course curriculum is carefully designed and includes recents development in computer science.
The placements of NSUT are very good. Almost all students of the college get placed during the placement season. Even in the recession time, the placements were not that bas. Approximately 70-80% students get placed. In 2022, the highest offered package was 1.2 cr to CSE department with average of 18LPA.
NSUT is definitely a good value-for-money college considering the facilities it provides in the campus. My course costs 9,34,000 for 4 years (8 semesters) and it is definitely worth it. I have been provided with AC classrooms, a green campus, excellent teaching and amazing placements.
The campus life is good. The students provide a good study and coding environment which enhances a person's interest towards coding. The students are good to talk to. The canteens are well maintained too. The only thing that is not too good is that the campus might seem too big.
The hostels are clean, and there is plenty of space in the rooms. Even though there are few hostels for girls, the hygiene is good. Canteen foods are delicious and healthy. There is a medical room with good documents to help students in distress. The hostels are in an open area and, hence, are not compact.
Faculty members at this college are highly qualified and some teachers are ready to help students when they want. Teaching quality depends from teacher to teacher; I think it is the curriculum where we are lagging, not the faculty members. They often teach us for semester exams, not industry; semester exams are okay—not so tough, not so easy.
This college is a well-known and prestigious college among the modern colleges, and because of that, many good companies hire students from this college. That's why the placement rates are quite high, and the coding culture is also good.
Time spend with some amazing people.

For NIT Patna’s CSE branch through JEE Main, last year’s closing rank was around 16,000 for both home state and other state quotas. This means you need a rank better than 16,000 to have a good chance of admission. Cutoffs can change every year based on the number of applicants and seat availability. It’s best to check the official JoSAA website or NIT Patna’s site for the latest cutoff details during counselling. Let me know if you want help with other colleges!
Hi there,
You have to tell about the rank and percentile that you have got in the jee examination instead of telling your marks. The colleges are allotted based on the ranks that you secure in your examination.
At this marks, it is difficult to get admission in any government college since there is a lot of competition and your rank will be probably in higher region. Thus it will be difficult to get admission.
However you can visit the official website of the colleges and the josaa and know about the previous year cutoff and thus get an idea about the college in which you can get a admission.
You can take help from our college predictor which is specifically designed to give you the list of colleges at the rank that you have achieved in the examination. the link is mentioned below:

Hope this resolves your query.
Dear Aspirant,
If you fall under the cutoff mentioned by the university then you are absolutely eligible for cs engineering in NSIT or DTU. But as the CS engineering is highly demanded course by many applicants it gets difficult to grab a seat due to limited seats. You should definitely apply in both of these colleges as both the colleges are highly ranked and you have higher chances to get in as you fall under the cutoff mentioned.
