Nsut have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities related to studies but one in terms of sport not very well equipped. 1st year classrooms are like advanced classes with full air conditioned and smart screens with many other facilities in every single room. From 2 year classes are normal like school . Wifi available all over the campus .
Quality of teaching is good . Yes the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. They prepare you for job , intership through different courses and training. But still you have to put hardwork from your side .
Placements are very great . Placements percentage of every branch is different. I don't remember exact statistics but in cse 80-85% placements, CSAI 70-80% placements,IT almost 90 % or more placements.
2.3 lakh in 1st year then every year increases by 10k . students and graduates assess their college experience based on factors like the quality of education received, networking opportunities, personal growth, and how well it prepares them for their career goals
The campus life at Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), formerly known as NSIT, is vibrant and diverse, offering a blend of academic, cultural, and social experiences.Student Clubs and Activities: NSUT hosts a variety of student clubs and societies catering to diverse interests such as technical, cultural, sports, and social causes. These clubs organize events, workshops, competitions, and cultural festivals throughout the year, providing students with opportunities to showcase their talents and passions
Infrastructure of the college comes in top colleges in Delhi. It has almost every facility. Free wifi with good connection is available. Various sports facilities are provided. Labs are well equipped and have projectors too.
Mathematics department have top notch faculty. They are qualified from reputed colleges and have great understanding of subject. They clears our doubt in seconds. Curriculum of the course is updated and it makes student ready for the job.
Placement cell of the college is active and you will keep getting opportunities. Good companies and institutions come for the recruitment process. Highest package given was 14 lpa and the average package ranges between 4-5 lpa.
The classrooms, laboratories and the library are amazing. We can issue book any time. Good sports and medical facilities are also provided to us. Quality of the food in canteen is nice, there are food courts stall. Free wifi is enabled in the campus.
All of my faculty members are very helpful and supportive. They clear our doubts and makes us understand the topics. Syllabus is completed on time and assignments are given on regular basis. Level of the exams is moderate.
Overall placement rate of the college is 60%. For our course it is around 65%. Many top companies come and hire students for decent package. Lowest package given last year was 4 lpa, while the highest was 12 lpa. Placement cell helps us to get internship and jobs.
University has top notch facilities, infrastructure is pretty good. We have full air conditioned classrooms and computer labs . A big library with numerous books in it. Sports facilities are also there. Food served in canteen is good too.
I really like the teachers. Teachers are highly qualified and very helpful. They always encourages us so that we can do good in our life. They also give regular assignments for practice. Semester exams are not tough to pass.
Around 70% of the students are placed from our course. Top companies like Reliance ,Wipro etc come. Highest salary package offered last year was 12 lpa ,while average was 6 lpa. Student also gets internship opportunities.
NSUT offers a modest-sized campus with ample greenery and decorative spaces, along with a well-stocked library. While the older classrooms lack air conditioning, the newer buildings are equipped with it. The campus also features a small sports complex and a canteen serving satisfactory food.
The academic rigor is notable, with strict attendance policies enforced by the professors. The curriculum for ICE branch is extensive and challenging, necessitating careful consideration before choosing this specialization. Practical learning is supported through lab sessions that complement the core subjects, accompanied by stringent viva and examination processes.
For the Instrumentation and Control Engineering branch, placement opportunities are promising, with a majority of companies welcoming ICE students for interviews. Students have the flexibility to pursue both technical and non-technical roles. The average annual salary package for graduates ranges between 8 to 10 lakh, varying according to the individual's capabilities and performance.
College offers ample campus space and good infrastructure, yet lacks sufficient hostels causing travel issues for students. Occasionally ECE lab equipment's malfunction, but the computer labs are excellent.
While professors are highly knowledgeable and qualified. The syllabusis robust, occasional deviations and dull teaching methods can lead to disengagement among students, detracting from the overall learning experience.
Have a very descent placements sometimes it has packages like big IITs and almost hundred percent placements. But this year has a great downfall in the placement ratio and also students are not getting sufficient packages
our per year fee is 2.5 lakhs hostel and mess are excluded , this is a very dissappointing experience as the iits and nits have fees less than this with more than this facilities . also the money they charge for back is also high
we are having a great campus life as you will get everything that you want to explore . There are more than 30 societies and clubs with different specializations and we have excellent cultural fest called MOKSHA .
I just want to say that everything has a -ve and +ve sides . Everything looks fine if you see it from outside , the reality is sometimes different, every college have these things , but you to make it best.
The overall college infrastructure is top-notch, We have all the advanced smart classrooms with the latest equipped technology. we have a gym and a student activity center with all the indoor games like table tennis, chess, carrom and etc.
Teachers here are very experienced and teach with passion. Teachers here are very helpful they will provide you with all the required material to study and all those books mostly are available in the library
In the year of 2024 placements all over the colleges in India have not been that good but still NSUT has maintained a good average package of 14.7 LPA for ECE Students and 18 LPA average for CSE students.
If you are looking for a government college with everything right, you should always visit Netaji Subhash University of technology. The college campus is 145 acres long with a separate block for each field. Like you are in computer science branch, you would have a separate block for your field. There is a big central library where you would get every book you may like to have. Only one thing which is not good is the shortage of equipments in the laboratories otherwise the college is full fledged
Sharing my personal experience, I am pursuing electronics and communication engineering. There is no shortage of faculties and the faculties are well experienced. Regular class tests and semester exams takes place. Class test gives you oppurtunity for getting a overall good score in your internal evaluation. I would consider the overall academics of this college as good because it is necessary to have descipline in academics and this college has a desciplined environment.
Considering the placements even this year the number of placed students from all the branches is relatively less than from the previous year. But the placement of this college is overall good. This college offers you a better placement from other private colleges.
Well the total fees of this college is much more than other private colleges but the fees taken is worth it. Well getting the best infrastructure, placements and the faculties is worth it in the total fees.
If you got admission in NSUT, you are so lucky because you will get all the good things here like good friends, friendly faculties who are helping at every difficutlies of yours. The culutural activities here, the fests everything gives you a good exposure for how to interact with others.
our college is well-equipped and well-structured. It has a good infrastructure and the classes have ACs and projectors. Our campus is very beautiful in terms of greenery as well and all the facilities are there at the campus in terms of student center, amul center for hanging out with friends, and playgrounds for sports . There are 3 open and closed gyms on campus.
Academically also our college is excellent and it is one of the best, especially for B.Tech but since it became a university back in 2018 it is putting even more pressure on it to become even better for all the courses. All of our faculty is really good and supporting as well .
In terms of ROI, I would say that many big companies come for placement on campus and the TnP is quite active in placing students in good profiles. Many of our seniors are doing great and in leading positions in the industry so NSUT has a really big network as well for guidance and help.
yes it is totally value for money but the terms are to be active and sincere when at the campus to enjoy the student life with great academics and on the same time to get placed in a good profile at the end. It is worth it to put money as it has a great campus, great faculty to guide at every moment and so many opportunities to learn and grow under an umbrella.
Campus life is awesome, a big campus with a lot of greenery and so many societies for overall development. Annual fest such as MOKSHA is a really fun time. Hanging out spots with friends Amul and the student center is also a place worth giving time.
College infrastructure is very good and well maintained. 1. Yes the college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. 2.Yes, our classrooms of iit standards and WiFi is present in all over the campus 3. Cleanliness and hygiene is maintained hostel.
Academic is Average i would say. 1. I am studying mechanical engineering and quality of teaching is decent. 2. Yes , i think syllabus is well updated. 3. I don’t if it makes me job ready but the subject and topics are relevant.
Placements are the strength of this collage. 1.The quality of placement are good. 2. Generally almost everyone who is eligible for placement gets placed. 3.The last I remembered the average was college was 18 lpa.
Yes there is value for money but still in some things it still lags
This is best of being in an engineering collage.
This is a very good collage in terms of placement and collage life.
For NIT Patna’s CSE branch through JEE Main, last year’s closing rank was around 16,000 for both home state and other state quotas. This means you need a rank better than 16,000 to have a good chance of admission. Cutoffs can change every year based on the number of applicants and seat availability. It’s best to check the official JoSAA website or NIT Patna’s site for the latest cutoff details during counselling. Let me know if you want help with other colleges!
Hi there,
You have to tell about the rank and percentile that you have got in the jee examination instead of telling your marks. The colleges are allotted based on the ranks that you secure in your examination.
At this marks, it is difficult to get admission in any government college since there is a lot of competition and your rank will be probably in higher region. Thus it will be difficult to get admission.
However you can visit the official website of the colleges and the josaa and know about the previous year cutoff and thus get an idea about the college in which you can get a admission.
You can take help from our college predictor which is specifically designed to give you the list of colleges at the rank that you have achieved in the examination. the link is mentioned below:

Hope this resolves your query.
Dear Aspirant,
If you fall under the cutoff mentioned by the university then you are absolutely eligible for cs engineering in NSIT or DTU. But as the CS engineering is highly demanded course by many applicants it gets difficult to grab a seat due to limited seats. You should definitely apply in both of these colleges as both the colleges are highly ranked and you have higher chances to get in as you fall under the cutoff mentioned.
