College have only necessary infrastructure, faculty and equipments. And living space is neat and clean. All basic facilities are available for sports and also hostels build is in process. There is pretty good wifi.
Academics is good. Teachers are well educated and they know how to handle students . They are best in their course and know how to teach the the students the topic which is difficult to understand and take classes responsibility.
Placements are pretty good and average salary is 10LPA.If you work hard in academics ,societies and coding you can even get the highest package in the college. Indulging in societies may give you the benefit in getting jobs.
It's somehow value for money.
West campus has no campus life.
Overall you can choose this college if you want the title of Nsut in your graduation degree.
Good infrastructure and hostel is 3.5 star out of 5 not the best not the worst. Library is good as well as sports centre and food at restaurant name student centre is hygienic and healthy and eatable and little costly.
academics is good and teachers are well educated and teach us so that we get ready for job and internship so i can easily say that the curriculum is updated every year as per required and proper guidlines from govt have been followed.
Placement record is great at nsut for the tech side. Non tech need so much improvement because colleges like Dtu stand equal to nsut in comparison to nsut in terms of tech placement but why not non tech why nsut is lower..
NSUT(Main Campus) have a huge campus of approx. 145 acres.Talking about sports infrastructure, here you get facilities to play various indoor and outdoor games. There are basketball ground, football ground, tennis court, billiard ,cricket gorund and many more things to play. But one thing is that many of them are too old and not maintained regularly . Apart form that every thing is quite fine you get free wifi to use with fair speed, Labs are also vey good. Canteen food is also fine and affordable.
Here All teachers are highly qualified and educated and course curriculum is awesome too.Course is well designed. But one thing which i dont like here is the way of teaching of teachers. They just want to complete syllabus and take tests. For example in online classes they just come up with a ppt. or pdf and just translate to us what is written in it. Therefore you have to study on your own to score good grades.
Placements is the thing where NSUT holds edge over many colleges not only across Delhi but across India. Almost every big companies and MNCs hire form here every year. Almost 80-90% students get placed here. Average pacakge is about 18LPA. The highest package offered is of 1.25 crores.
The quality of food provided in the college was average. Wi-Fi facilities were very good, and lab facilities were also proper. Hostel facilities were not available at that time. There was a centralised library with the latest updated editions of books. There is a playground and spacious rooms.
Qualified faculty members were selected by UPSC with good teaching experience. The course curriculum was good, but it was not updated as it needed to be updated at regular intervals. Faculty members were very knowledgeable. The idea of starting this course was good as it in demand nowadays.
Almost 25% of the students got placed in our batch. TCS, Infosys and HCL were the top recruiters. The lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 7 LPA. IT security was the top role offered in the course. Almost 40% of the students got internships in our course. In our course, the average salary package offered was 4 LPA.
Infrastructure is getting boost since the conversion of NSIT into NSUT. NSUT has SAMSUNG INNOVATION LAB, TEXAS INSTRUMENT LAB , DKDF AI Lab inside the campus. Recently lecture hall theatres with high-tech features have been constructed.
Academics is rigorous in NSUT. NSUT has a relative grading system that is why it is sometimes difficult to score a good gpa. Overall , faculty is excellent . College lacks a little bit of research culture .
Placements are very good especially for the circuital branches. Nearly 200 companies recruit from NSUT every year that includes tech giants like Amazon, Google, Facebook, Microsoft, SalesForce ,Tower Research, DE Shaw, etc.
The infrastructure of NSUT is quite good. The new blocks are air-conditioned, and new lecture halls have world-class amenities. The library is huge, and it is fully air-conditioned and also has Wi-Fi. Hostel life is quite good, and the food is above average. The rooms are of single occupancy, so there is no issue with hygiene. Almost all the sports facilities are available at the college.
The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, but they are not very helpful. They don't take any initiative or interest in their teaching. But mostly, you have to do everything on your own. The course curriculum is relevant and has many subjects which are very important for students. It helps the students to get placements and also internships.
The mathematics and computing branch started in NSUT in 2019, so the placement record for its 1st batch would be received only in 2021. Currently, there is no record, but it is expected that there would be 100% placements for this batch.
NSUT has all the necessary facilities. The campus area is large with proper parking space, cantene, and hostels. Proper instruments for practical classes are available. Cleanliness is maintained all over the campus.
I am studying mechanical engineering. The facilities are all well experienced and the curriculum is updated timely. Practical classes are conducted properly. Only the curriculum and some faculty advise is enough for placements.
The placements at NSUT has always been one of the best. Almost all who appear for placements get placed with an average around 8L per annum. Highest salary is not fixed. TnP cell is very cooperative with respect to internships and placements.
The infrastructure of NSUT is quite good. The new blocks are air-conditioned, and new lecture halls have world-class amenities. The MAC course is new, so most of the teachers and the syllabus are new. Some of them are great, like experienced teachers, but while some weren't. It usually depends on students how and when they want to study for college exams as CGPA matters. There is no spoon-feeding, unlike school, which is a good thing as you become self-dependent. It is also an important life skill to have as you wouldn't have anyone to help you in real life too.
It is difficult to get internships if you are in mechanical, MPAE and biotech because P&T cell does not allow us to attend internships. However, there is no such issue during the placement session. The average salary package offered here is around 16 LPA.
The entire admin and classroom area is equipped with free Wi-Fi. There is a proper cricket, football and racing ground, which are properly maintained. A new student center is also recently opened with very reasonable prices and good quality food. New and advanced classrooms are also opened in 2021.
The faculty members are excellent and very well knowledgeable. Almost all the faculty members have done their PhDs from IIT Delhi. The material provided is good and easy to understand. The way they make a student understand the topic is nice. The teachers are friendly and understand the students' concerns. They also help students with extra work and projects.
As of now, it's a new campus of NSUT, but all of us know about the reputation of NSUT. It is one of the best colleges in India, and placements will surely be the same as the old campus. If you know about the placements of the main campus, you can easily guess the placements of this college.
Infrastructure is quite good, classes are okayish, love the library and the new constructions. Labs are old and not of much use, the cafe is good, hostels are not but survivable, one cannot really expect much from a government college in terms of infrastructure.
Okayish professors, knowledgeable but minimal guidance and support. But workable for someone who's not dependent on external push. Classes are not interesting but there is an issue of compulsory 75% attendance.
Great placement, reliable Training, and Placement cell. 200+ Companies visit the campus each year with good placement record overall. If you are even an average student, you'll make it through with a decent placement.
I miss my college but yes it's definitely valuable because of the students who take admission into the college.
Great environment for someone who wants to dedicate their time to learn and develop themselves, worst for those who wanted a smooth sailing college life.
Dear Aspirant,
If you fall under the cutoff mentioned by the university then you are absolutely eligible for cs engineering in NSIT or DTU. But as the CS engineering is highly demanded course by many applicants it gets difficult to grab a seat due to limited seats. You should definitely apply in both of these colleges as both the colleges are highly ranked and you have higher chances to get in as you fall under the cutoff mentioned.
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing well!
See if you get an offer from NSIT, then you can just reject or ignore that offer and can just sit in the next round of counselling. You dont need to go for document verification if you are not interested to take a seat offered by the NSIT.
You can also predict your chances of admission in colleges through JOSAA counselling using our JEE College Predictor Tool. Kindly visit the link given below to predict colleges:

Hope this will help.
Dear Yogesh,
As you mentioned you don’t really have interest in mechanical so you should definitely go for CSE in any institute you mentioned. Remember, you can achieve only when you believe and have passion in what you do. NIT BHOPAL seems to have a very impressive rating based on student’s reviews. According to them, It's amazing. Your four years will have been worthwhile. Excellent in terms of placement. Many renowned MNCs frequently visit MANIT. In truth, you don't have to work very hard to acquire advice here. The class notes will help you manage. As a result, you can spend time practising competitive programming. Use different online platforms. You will find a wonderful competitive culture for coding because we have programming clubs and sites as well. The campus itself is quite beautiful.
So ,there are a few basic requirements in general if you want to establish a business.
1. A notion (it may or may not be a new one).
2. A group to carry it out
(Again, what matters is how well the team works together and how well everyone understands one another; it is not required for everyone to have perfect talents.)
3. Carrying out.
Now, as a CSE student when you graduate you have plenty of opportunities or well paying jobs that attracts you, and this experience is also necessary since one must know how a company operates before opening his or her own. (This needs to be well planned, laid out, and every possibility must be thought of.)
Another option is to pursue a PhD before starting a business. Since a PhD is intended for researchers, many people view this as an ambiguous decision. But the benefit in this situation is that if you conduct research and approach it with the intention of creating a product at the end, you spend five years developing it, and you end up with something that is incredibly original and has never been done (Point 1 Unique Idea).
If you have the three things I listed earlier, starting a business isn't that difficult, and having experience on your side never hurts. Because of this, most people prefer to get a job before starting one, though some choose to do so right after receiving their bachelor's degree in technology. Additionally, the tendency is shifting; more students—including CSE students—are choosing to work with startups as they become more prevalent.
Hope this helps you.
All the best.
