College have all the infrastructure like in campus hostel facility, in campus Amul parlour. The college have well equipped library facility with very lager number of books and journals. The whole campus is equipped with high wi-fi connection.
I am studying Electronics and Communication in this college. The quality of teaching in college is best in good. Almost all the teachers and Phd scholars in their domain. The faculty here will taught all the related topics for your placement.
The college provide placement in all the students in many major comapny like wipro, infosys, sankalp semiconductor etc. If you are follow the basic requirement criteria of the placement commette then you will definitely get a on campus placement.
I am from Bihar so i got the facility of Student credit card. The whole course fee of the college is almost 4.75 lacks for 4 years.THe college provide placement in all the students in many major company like wipro, infosys, sankalp semiconductor.

Yes, My college has almost all facilities especially the equipments used in lab are all good and useful but some of them are quite old and requires maintaenance. The classroom, laboratories, libraries, sports center are good enough and well maintained. Yes the place is clean and hygenic.
Currently,I'm pursuing Btech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering(ECE) branch. The quality of teaching is good enough but the curriculum needs to be updated a bit. But i feel more emphasis has to be given to the practical sessions.
As I'm in my 3rd year of degree so as much as i have heard from my seniors the placement last year was quite good and many students have been placed in several IT companies. College is very supportive regarding placements.
I pay 1,19,000 per year and i feel my money is worth because the quality of education here is good. Teachers and seniors help a lot.
Campus location is good. It is a calm and green environment situated far away from city. Teachers are very friendly and supportive.
Yes the college has well built infrastructure and contains all the necessary equipments. The facilities we have are good and well equipped. The living place is clean and dust free and the food is hygienic.
I am presently pursuing electrical and electronics engineering and the quality of education they are delivering is really appreciable. The curriculum is updated with recent technologies and the way of presenting all topics with care makes me job ready.
The quality of placement is quite well nearly 85percent of students are being placed. The highest package offered is 18.5 lakh in ECE department. The average salary offered is 3lakh and placement process is quite simple and the college is very supportive.
The course fee is 1.16lakh per year and I think it worth me very much because the of content delivered is very good and several new initiatives started makes superior among others and the faculties are very friendly.
The campus life for me is very good and here I gained control over my fear and the students can engage in various co curricular activities and the various clubs established here give you a chance to show your knowledge. The location is very safe and can handle any emergencies.
I also like to add that here you get several opportunities to show case your knowledge and prove yourself in front of others.
NIST has everything that a student needs. It has a library, various labs for different subjects. Every branch has their own building. It has various playgrounds also like cricket volley ball basketball tennis. Along with it there is a swimming pool for the swimmers. Overall infrastructure is good
Currently I m in my 4th year and a CS engineer. My DPT teachers are good enough. They are updated with all the changes made in our syllabus. Yes few are not aware of every single change but I think it's ok.
Placement here is excellent . In my batch there are 1000 btech students and almost 80% got placed in various on and off campus drive. Most of the students got placed in more than one companies. Various core companies also visit here like MIEL it is a core company and 75 of our mechanical students got placed over here.
I think it's worth every penny. Because overall fees per year is around 1 lakh and within 1 lakh if you are getting every facilities along with placements then it's obviously a good college. After all we all want a college with good placements and NIST provides that so what else do we need?
Campus life here is not that good because the campus is located outside of city so if you need something so you have to rush to city to get that. There are 2 college fest celebrated every year. SANKALP is the mega event followed by WAVES. For any kind of medical emergencies college do have a ambulance.
NIST have all the facilities required for good education like it has a full air conditioned library ,various labs , smart classrooms. Along with education maintaining good health is also necessary so it does provide a gym and dispensary. For different branches there are different buildings with lift facility. Hostels are also there for accommodation. Sports being a neccessary part of our life we have various playgrounds- cricket, basketball, volley, kabaddi and tennis along with a swimming pool.
Half of the teachers are good like they are updated with all the changes made in their subjects. Rest of them are unaware of all the changes. My branch is CSE so my department teachers are avg. They use the projector for teaching purpose and gives the proper notes too .
Good placements are there. Almost 80% gets placed every year in many MNCs. Mostly students from CSE IT ECE gets max opportunities to sit in placements. Core companies also visits but comparatively software companies are more. Students gets placed in wipro,Infosys, capgemini, TCS,cognizant, mindtree, DXC technology,LNT,infotech, IBM,Amazon,GGK tech,MEIL(core branch), Hexaware,TCS digital, tata steel etc through various on and off campus drive.
I belong to berhampur itself so I dont know anything about hostel fees and facilities provided over there . I pay 1.2 lakhs(around) per year including bus facilities. I think its quite affordable and worth money.
Campus life over here is average. As it is located outside the city so you have to travel to city for various facilities. We have 2 fest's conducted every year SANKALP being the mega cultural fest where students from different universities are invited and Bollywood musical bands along with DJ also do come for musical night.WAVES is smaller compared to SANKALP. Students from 2nd year can engage themselves in various clubs. For haldling any medical emergency there is a ambulance also.
Most of the required equipment are found but some of them are functional while others are not. We dont have world class facilities here but the ones present are quiet manageable. All the necessary facilities are found . Living space is clean . But food depends of the taste .. it's hygienic but taste differs.
CSE . Quality of teaching is fine . Yes most of the required things are covered. Yes it does to an extent. It does all kind of co curricular activities and soft skill development programs and all the other things required.
It has a decent record and u RG maintains it . Around 60 to 70 percent are being placed. Highest according to my knowledge is of around 26la p.a. It belonged to the CS trade. Avg sal is around 7 to 7.5 la p.a. Yes it was supportive.
It costs about 5 lakhs for the entire course excluding all RG he hostel and mess fees. Kind of
It is quite big but not big enough . Moreover it doesn't allow any kind of vehicles of students inside the camous which i think is very bad . All tbe students, teachers , staff are good . Location for students is very fine. Yes it can handle emergencies.
Thats all i would like to share.
College infrastructure s overall average.it is not so modern.classrooms also are average. And if you think this going to to be a karan johar movie set you are absolutely wrong. But you can feel fresh here.you will get everything ou need o study. There is no compromise there.
The best thing about this college s it's academics.I don't know about others but I think this is definitely he best private colllege when it comes to academics at this price.Faculties are also very cooperative.
Average or below average placements .only 2-3 big companies what you call come here for mass recruitment .No matter what course you have opted for you would get a job only when you sit in the it companies (that too depends on you).
Well when you say value for money I am contemplated as when it comes to academics it is okay but for placements, events ,extra curricular this is not. Also the money whic they take is not too much for an average middle class child .
It is average. There are many clubs you can join and engage yourselves .Every person cannot be the same so it depends oe you connect with people there .your bond with faculties depends on your talent here.
Personally, only thing I like about my college s the academics and some of the facilties. And yes clubs are shiit. And let's not get into the politics. Here everybody s a politician.Staying away from everybody and yet being a part of them is a mantra to survive.
It is pretty decent and good with every facilities available. Labs are well equipped with the modern tools and materials. Every building is equipped with lifts to ensure hassle free movement within the buildings.
Academics is one aspect which this college takes upon seriously. Like from the theory classes to the practical everything is taken seriously and with discipline. Research activities are also encouraged among the BTech students.
Placements are mostly from the software sector like Infosys, Wipro, Mindtree etc. Whereas semiconductor based companies also do visit the college for placements, but their recruitment is less in number. Few core sector companies also do visit like TATA Steel, MEIL etc.
Yes. As per the cost of everything this college is a value for money. In the state it provides good education with minimal fee structure.
Campus life is decent and not so hyped. Since the college is situated amidst the Palur Hills hence evening here is silent and serene.
Though College not having all the necessary infra bt having medium infrastructure.Facilities are good and material provided are modern.Infrastructure meeting the level of expectation ...................
I am studying in the domain of electronics and communication because it is my interest and I wanna join core company in future . Yes.as per university guideline curriculum is updated and all the recent developments .
Placement is average .But it is high in case of IT sectors and it provides a good opportunity for students from CSE ,IT students and students having good command on computer programming ................
Tution fee is about 120000 per year .....as compare to other private colleges in odisha it is somehow low ..And other economic scholarships are also available for needy students .........................
Security is high ...Though it is outside the town safety is maintained by the college authority . As it is outskirts to town communication is a little low .But college having buses for transportation purpose .
If you want to complete your degree then must join this college as it academic is really appreciable and faculty co operation is also good...............................Highly recommended .............
It's good. It has all the required facilities and equipments bin very good condition. Classrooms are having projector and student have accessibility to free college WiFi. Whole living area is cleaned daily.
Outstanding. The teachers are extremely helpful and keep trust on their own. They are very much kind and always there for the needy especially the director is the man on command and he is one of his kind and also very gentle.
Overall its Good. Good placement facilities are there.the convocation are the best of their kind it is just awesome college and a very reputed placement status in all the national institutes in india .
Outstanding. Value for money no doubt i will recommend this one for every jee aspirant that this must be their fist priority as it is the best they could ever get from jee mains as if they are not focussing towards IIT.
Campus life here is the only one we could have on this planet..i got much more than life coud ever imagined the way of people living here is giving me a feeling of family and the livelihood we enjoyed the most beautiful time of my life.
Overall i am giving a five star rating to this college because i loved it as I enjoyed 2 years in the campus and more to go and i definately wish u guys to join us and be the part of this wonderful community.

Hello Aspirant
GITA is superior to NIST in every way, not just with regard to placement. The colleges host the same hiring companies because they are almost in the same geographic vicinity and have nearly identical accreditations. However, I also consider fee structures to be important factors. And the GITA pricing schedule is reasonable.
Thanks
