What is Visual Media

Visual media is a course that is used to designate things like TV, Movies, and Photography. It focuses more on touch and hearing. The course of visual media teaches students about various aspects of visual media and how it is used in our daily life. The main objective of this course is to teach students how to use images, words, and also art to communicate with the audience. 

Visual media courses focus on techniques, skills and also transfer ideas in forms that can be read and looked at. Visual media is a course where there is a medium through which people get news along with pictures in motion and how the process is being taught to students. 

The main aim of visual media course is to communicate messages to the audience with the use of pictures, arts, etc. and to deliver the message effectively. The duration of this course is 03 years with a wide scope of career opportunities. And if you wish to pursue this course after graduation, then it is a course for 02 years.

Eligibility Criteria (UG & PG) of Visual Media

Eligibility Criteria for Visual Media both UG and PG 

The minimum eligibility criteria for this course is the candidate should have passed 10+2 in Science stream. 

For Undergraduates

  • The minimum eligibility criteria for UG is 10+2 pass with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks.

  • After qualifying the criteria, the aspirant has to appear for an entrance examination if any conducted by the institution or university. 

For Postgraduates

  • The minimum eligibility criteria for PG is the candidate should have at least qualified graduation in any discipline with an aggregate of 50% marks or equivalent.

  • The admission is merit based on graduation marks with the minimum criteria and entrance exam if any. 

Entrance Exam for Visual Media

There are entrance exams conducted by institutions to procure admission in this course. There is no such entrance examination for this course. The entrance exam is conducted based on some colleges and universities where the candidate wishes to procure admission. Some of the institutes that take entrance examination are:
