Most boards (like CBSE and various State Boards) are either in the middle of exams or starting their Mathematics paper very soon. To score high, focus on these high-weightage chapters and types of questions that appear almost every year.

  • Algebra (Weightage: 20 Marks)

  • Geometry (Weightage: 5 Marks)

  • Trigonometry (Weightage: 12 Marks)

  • Statistics & Probability (Weightage: 11 Marks)

  • Surface Areas & Volumes (Weightage: 10 Marks)

Strategy for the Exam Hall

  1. Read the Paper (15 Mins): Identify the easiest questions first.
  2. Section D First: If you are confident, start with the 5-mark questions. They take time but carry the most weight.
  3. Step Marking: Even if you don't know the final answer, write the Given, Formula, and First 2 Steps. You will get partial marks.
  4. Diagrams: Use a pencil and ruler for all geometry and trigonometry diagrams. Clean work impresses the examiner.
