Communication Design - Minimum and Maximum Duration
The B.Des degree in communication design is an undergraduate course with a duration of 48 months divided into 8 semesters. The M. Des degree is a full time 24 months’ course. There are various diploma degrees for visual communication which are 12 months’ courses and provide the chance to enter this innovative field and make a mark with 2 or 4 years of experience.
Eligibility Criteria (UG & PG) of Communication Design
The eligibility criteria for the admission in top colleges and institutes vary a lot. The basic eligibility criterion is a 10+2 qualification or equivalent in any stream from a registered board. The criteria to fulfil for B.Des in communication design is to have marks of 50% in science stream after which candidates have to appear for the entrance examination. The UG course is based on merit or 10+2 examination but many institutes take entrance exams based on the stream so that it becomes easier to choose from the candidates.
