For the UP Board (UPMSP) Class 10 Half Yearly Maths Exam conducted in the 2025-26 session, schools typically hold these tests in October; however, some regions or specific private schools under the state board may conduct them in December as part of their internal scheduling.

What to expect in the Class 10 Maths Half Yearly Paper:

  • Syllabus: Usually covers the first 50-60% of the NCERT textbook (Units like Number Systems, Algebra, and part of Geometry/Trigonometry).

  • Format: The paper is worth 100 marks (70 for the written theory exam and 30 for internal assessment).

  • Question Types: It includes 20 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) to be answered on an OMR sheet , followed by descriptive short and long-answer questions.
