8th-grade exams usually take place in February and March of every year. Dates vary according to boards, be it CBSE, RBSE or state boards like Maharashtra or Karnataka. Dates for all these boards are released separately on their individual websites, or you can have all information from your school as well. Most of them publish the date sheets a few months ahead, mainly in December or January, so that the students can prepare accordingly.
