Hello, honestly Chances in Govt. BAMS College:

Low to borderline, depending on your home state.

Better Chances In:

States like Chhattisgarh, MP, North-Eastern states via aiq some govt. colleges have lower cutoffs.

Less Likely In:

UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, WB – Govt. BAMS cutoff is usually 300–400+ for OBC.

Private BAMS Colleges:

Good chances with 244 marks.you can Consider if you want admission this year.

So,If you're aiming strictly for Govt. BAMS, your best chance is through state quota in lower cutoff states. If not, private BAMS or semi-government AYUSH colleges are open options.

A candidate from the OBC category scoring 244 in NEET faces very low chances of securing admission to a government BAMS college. This is because government BAMS colleges usually have higher cutoffs, often ranging from 400 to 480 for OBC candidates. Admission chances in the first and second counselling rounds are almost negligible at this score. Even in the mop-up and stray vacancy rounds, the competition remains high, and government seats rarely go that low. However, there might still be some possibility in private BAMS colleges, especially under the management quota or if the state has relaxed criteria for OBC reservations. Overall, with a score of 244, the chances of getting a government seat are slim, and students should be open to exploring private options or consider improving their score for the next attempt.

According to you rank that is 244 in NEET under OBC category  getting admission to a government BAMS college is very difficult, even in the later rounds  because the competition is so high and even OBC category cutt off goes upto 400-450.You can go for private colleges but the fees will be higher.
