Hello Sneha,

If you’ve scored 45 marks in the JEE Main April 2025 attempt (3rd April, Shift 2), unfortunately, it is unlikely to qualify for JEE Advanced. Generally, to be eligible for JEE Advanced, candidates need to be among the top 2.5 lakh rank holders in JEE Main across all categories combined, and typically the cutoff for qualification is much higher than 45 marks.

However, the exact cutoff varies every year depending on the paper's difficulty and overall performance trends. I’d recommend you to check the official JEE Main 2025 cutoff for JEE Advanced eligibility when it's released on the NTA website after the final session results.

Suggestion:

If you're aiming for JEE Advanced, you can use this time to thoroughly analyze this attempt, strengthen weak areas, and consider preparing for next year’s attempt if eligible, or explore good private/state engineering colleges where your current score might be accepted.

Hope that helps . Have a great day !!
