Percentage = (Your Marks / Total Marks) × 100
e.g., 54 out of 100 = 54%

A percentile is not the same as a percentage.
It tells how you performed compared to others.

Example: 70 percentile means you did better than 70% of students.

To convert 54 marks into a percentile, we need to know:

Total marks (What is the exam out of?)

Exam type (Board exam, entrance exam like CUET, JEE, etc.)

Your rank compared to others (since percentile is a relative score)
