See, Conversion of percentile to actual score is not possible unless and until you know about the score of other candidates and the number of Total candidates appeared for examination. actually percentile refers to the percentage of people whose score lies behind you. so in case you have 79.489 percentile it means that 79.489% of the total candidates who appeared for the examination have scored fewer marks than you.
