80 persentail in jee mains get the to 15 nit in st category

Hey!There
80percentile is too low in general or OBC category even with such percentile you can't clear JEE MAINS.Also 80 percentile can't fetch you good NITs under SC and ST quota.So try to score 90+ percentile for which you need to score 80+ score .

yes ,you are belongs to sc category then you can get the NIT seat .For the 80 percentile in JEE mains will never get you into any NITs if you belong to general or OBC category. But if you belong to SC and ST category you will get into some of the NITs for sure. But if you're a general category student , you will have to score as much as 95-96 percentile for minimum to get a seat in NIT seat.
