In year 2017, CAT cutoff for OBC Category was around 97-98 percentile with good background of 80+ in acads.

i would suggest getting above 97+ percentile will definately land you in top IIM.

For baby IIM, 95+ are enough to fetch you a call.

You have good academic background along with added advantage of work exp to get a call just make sure you fetch above 97+ in OBC for IIM ABC and 96+ for baby IIMS.

You have a nice profile and this will help you a lot in securing some of the best IIMs. If you clear sectionals and Overall Cat cutoff you will get around 17 IIM calls + Calls from IITs too if you apply for them. The only thing is you need a strong Cat score for IIM-A,B,C because your UG score is under 80% and in top 3 IIMs if you go for the past so many years of trend, most probably even in OBC category you will find students with UG scores in 80s and 90s. There have been so many cases where OBC profiles are much better than General profiles too. So get around 99%ile in CAT rest no worries. And since you have workex even the interview would be a cake walk for you. So keep going and work hard for Cat.

Very good chances as you have good academic and also for OBC category cutoffs shall be slightly lower. However end of the day minimum 90 percentile in CAT is must to cinvert any IIM and also must have strong performance in GDPi rounds to secure seats.

You have good marks in tenth and twelfth grade, and pretty decent percentage in Engineering. And, the best part is you also have perfect amount of work experience. You just need to score 98 to 99 percentile in CAT. This will give you fair chance in old like IIM-A,B,C as well as new IIMs. Prepare well and ace it.

Stick to a target above this, then looking into your work experience and academic scores, you might get calls from new IIMs.

For old IIMs , your target must be at least 99.5 percentile and above. Anything below this doesn't get a call from older IIMs , especially for engineers.
