With 96/200 in NATA and 96.4% in 12th boards (General category), you have good chances of getting into top private architecture colleges like:
SPA Bhopal/Vijayawada (may be tough due to low NATA)
CEPT University
SRM, LPU, Manipal
State counselling-based govt colleges (check your state cutoffs)
Your board marks are excellent, but NATA score is average, so focus on colleges with balanced weightage or more emphasis on board marks.
So, with a score of 96 out of 200 in NATA and 96.4% in your 12th boards, you're in a pretty decent spot. Your board percentage is really strong, and even though your NATA score isn't in the very high range, the combination still gives you a fair shot at a lot of good architecture colleges. Most institutes consider both NATA and board marks in a 50:50 ratio, so your strong academics will definitely help balance things out.
Now, while super competitive colleges like SPA Delhi or CEPT Ahmedabad usually require a higher NATA score, you still have a good chance in many reputed private universities and some state-level government colleges, depending on the counselling cutoffs in your state. If you’re from a state that has its own counselling process for B.Arch, like Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, or Kerala, you should definitely apply through that route. Your board marks will give you an edge there.
There are also many universities that offer direct admission based on your current profile. And with your kind of board score, some colleges even offer merit-based scholarships. So, the focus now should be on shortlisting the colleges where your combined score stands competitive, applying through state counselling if applicable, and getting your documents in order.
