Sorry to say you, one can't trace his /her marks from percentile. The percentile  indicates the percentage of candidates that have scored equal to Or belo w (same or lower scores) that particular Percentile in that examination.So highest scorer o f each session will get the same Percentile of 100.

That implies 98 percentile cannot refers to how much marks you have got.
