 Only the competitive sports disciplines shall be eligible for selection under sports quota. The games include Olympics, Youth Olympics, Asian Games, Youth Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, Youth Commonwealth Games, South Asian Federation Games, and last National Games.

If you are one of the eligible candidates seeking admission under sports quota, you will have to submit a copy of the same application with details of your sports achievement to the SATS, duly certified or attested by the State Associations.

The new guidelines issued are for admissions into professional courses like Engineering, Medical Agriculture, under sports quota.
