Both the branches are very good. They have their own importance.Electronics and Communication branch has got wider options and easier life compared to Mechanical Engineers.But in ECE, companies are not so much specific about management skills, all they ask for is how good you are in your subjects.
But all depends on your interest. So i suggest you to go with your interested branch.
