Lalbhai Dalpatbhai College of Engineering (LDCE) was established in 1948. The college is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University (GTU). LD College of Engineering presently offers B.E and M.E. courses in multiple disciplines.

Admission to B.E. courses is given on the basis of common entrance test (GUJCET)

Candidates applying for B.E. seats should’ve passed at 10+2 level from a recognized board.

Key points about admission in B.E:

The admission in B.E will be granted on the basis of merit list prepared by taking into account 60% preference of marks in theory subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics obtained in HSC conducted by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Board (GSEB) and 40% of percentile marks of GUJCET.

Candidates appearing in JEE do not have to appear in GUJCET.
