Yes. Direct admission on 12th marks is available for many courses.
Entrance exam is not compulsory everywhere.

You can get admission using your 12th marksheet in these courses:

• BA, BSc, BCom

• BBA, BCA

• BSc IT, BSc Computer Science

• Diploma courses

• Some private engineering colleges (management quota)

• Private universities (merit-based)

Colleges prepare a merit list based on your 12th percentage.

Entrance exams are needed mainly for top colleges and government institutes , like:

• Engineering – JEE Main, state CET

• Medical – NEET

• Law – CLAT

• CUET – for many central universities
