Once you’ve filled out the admission form online, the college or university usually updates the official website with the merit list or selection list.

To check if your name is on the list, search the name of the college on Google along with the merit list or admission list.You’ll usually find a PDF file or a login portal where you can enter your roll number or application number to check your status. Some colleges release the list in alphabetical order, so you can also search for your name directly.

If the list hasn’t been uploaded yet, wait a bit or call the college’s admission helpline for more details. Sometimes, updates are also sent via SMS or email.
