Here is a step wise description to get admission through JEE :-

• Register for JEE Main:

  • Visit the official NTA website, fill out the application form , and pay the fee.
  • Appear for the JEE Main exam.

• Qualify for JEE Advanced (if applicable):

  • Check the cutoff scores for JEE Main.
  • Eligible candidates register for JEE Advanced.

• Appear for JEE Advanced:

  • Write the JEE Advanced exam (for admission to IITs).
  • Check results and ranks.

• Counseling via JoSAA:

  Recommended
  • Register on the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) portal .
  • Fill in choices for institutes and courses (IITs, NITs, IIITs, GFTIs).

• Seat Allotment:

  • Based on rank, preferences, and category.
  • Accept and verify documents online or at reporting centers.

• Admission Confirmation:

  • Pay fees, submit documents, and join the allotted institute.
