Review of my friend, whos studying there

AKTU (formerly UPTU) holds the tag of the largest university of Asia but when it comes to quality it lags behind by a huge margin from other top universities of Technical Education .

The entire system is bound to screw you if you truly aspire to be and engineer . Just imagine an engineer without any practical knowledge and getting grades on the basis of his mugging skills . I am damn sure that whomsoever has taken admission in this fucking university must be well versed with this famous book series

This is the saviour of the so called students . All the university is doing is producing unemployable engineers in Bulk .As per my understanding the question is regarding campus placements. I would be talking about the private colleges only (excluding IET Lucknkw, BIET Jhansi and KNIT Sultanpur )… see whatever specialization may it be Mechanical Electrical kr Civil .. u are bound to be placed in IT sector only namely TCS , Infosys , Wipro, etc and I don’t want to go in depth about life in IT sector .. but if we were to be placed in IT sector then what was the purpose of drilling the minds of aspiring students with other specialization subjects ?…

Coming to conduction of Examination and Results…. I don’t know if there exists another university in the nation which declares results after 3–3.5 months prior to the examination… and on top of that some of the results have Incomplete status and there are also cases that the marks of some subjects are not displayed and the student is made to bite the dust the entire year at College level to University level …

Coming to faculty … the So called Assistant Professors are nothing but the product of the same alma mater you are studying and they would Guide you to clear GATE/IES and other top exams and they themselves could not clear the same exam … All they do is come to the class with previous year notes and dictate these notes standing at the podium in the name if delivering lectures .

My piece if advice would be to take admission in the private colleges of UPTU (AKTU) .. especially Noida region only in the worst case scenario .. Better do a B.sc from DU or BHU etc instead of getting screwed in UPTU..

Believe me things will not be good down the line for AKTU as according to latest news .. 326 institutions have been shut down and more are lined up for the same
