Having completed your veterinary degree in Russia will be enough to land you a job in India. But often, people, especially in fields requiring practical application, prefer to obtain certifications in their field of practice in order to maintain their skill and proficiency in their field of practice and communicate to their customers/patients that they are up-to-date and highly capable in their field.

Therefore, a certificate in veterinary practices would be integral to an individual who is seeking to open his own clinic or work as an independent practitioner in order to confer to people his expertise in the field through an official formal attestation.

Although there is no nationally acclaimed certification for veterinary practitioners in India, there are a few certifications which are globally acknowledged and hold much weight in the industry around the world such as:

1. CVPP (Certified Veterinary Pain Practitioner) from IVAPM (International Veterinary Academy for Pain Management)

2. CertAVP (Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice) from Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, UK.

3. CSAVP (Certificate of Small Animal Veterinary Practice) from European School for Advanced Veterinary Studies.

Hi. Your marksheet should be enough to practice in India. Apart from these, I am not sure, if any other certificate is required or not. Your marks sheet, transfer certificate are enough.
