If you want to become an IAS then its minimum eligibility criteria is that Candidates must hold a graduate degree from a recognized University.And also awaiting graduates are also eligible.

There is no such thumb rule that Candidates should have engineering  degree or medical degree for pursuing IAS .

Candidates are allowed to choose any stream after 10th as per their interest and convenience .
