The CBSE board has reduced 30% of the syllabus from 11th Class Mathematics. Some topics are deleted from each chapter. Here I will be mentioning the deleted topics from each chapter

Lesson no 1. Sets:- From lesson no 1 the deleted topics are:-

- Difference of sets.

- Complement of a set. Properties of Complement

2.Relations & Functions:- From lesson Relations and functions the deleted topics are:-

- (up to RXRXR )

- Sum, Difference, product and quotients of functions

3. Trigonometric Functions:- From Trignometric functions the deleted topics are:-

General Solutions of trigonometric equations of the type sin y = sin a, cos y=cos a and tan y= tan a.

4.Principle of Mathematical Induction:- Principle of Mathematical Induction complete chapter is deleted.

5.Complex Numbers and Quadratic Equations:- The deleted topics from this chapter are

- Polar representation of complex numbers.

- Square root of a complex number.

6.Permutations and Combinations:- The deleted topics from this chapter are:-

- Derivation of formulae for nPr and nCr

7.Binomial theorem:- This complete chapter is deleted .

8. Straight Lines:- The deleted topics from this chapter

- Shifting of origin.

- Equation of family of lines passing through the point of intersection of two lines.

9. Conic sections:- The deleted topics from this chapter are

- a point, a straight line and a pair of intersecting lines as a degenerated case of a conic section.

10..Introduction to Three-dimensional Geometry: No topic is deleted from this chapter

11.Limits and Derivatives:- No topic is deleted from this chapter.

12.Mathematical Reasoning:- Full chapter is deleted.

13.Statics:- The deleted topics from this chapter are

- Analysis of frequency distributions with equal means but different variances.

14. Probability:- Deleted topics from this chapter include

- Axiomatic (set theoretic) probability, connections with other theories of earlier classes.

15.Sequence and Series :- Deleted topics include:-Formulae for the following special sums
