Hello aspirant,

To pursue veterinary courses after high school, a student must, at the very least, have completed their 10+2 education with physics, chemistry, and biology as their major subjects. So an arts student is not eligible for veterinary course.

Thank you

Hope it helps you

To study veterinary science, you need to have a strong academic record in science subjects, especially chemistry and biology but if you are a art student it is not possible for you to change background and do veterinary course.

However,If you have passion you can go for entry level job in veterinary to gain some experience then you are able to work in this area or field.it is not necessary to have academic background to work in your interested area you can still get into it with your determination.

Hello from Careers360,

Thank you for your question about pursuing a veterinary course after studying arts. I appreciate your interest in exploring different career paths.

To address your query directly: Unfortunately, studying arts alone typically doesn't provide the prerequisite subjects required for admission to most veterinary courses. Veterinary programs generally require a strong background in science subjects, particularly biology and chemistry.

However, if you're passionate about working with animals, there may be alternative paths you could consider:

1. You might look into animal behavior or animal welfare programs, which sometimes have more flexible entry requirements.

2. Some universities offer foundation or bridge courses that could help you transition from an arts background to veterinary science.

3. There are also related fields like wildlife conservation or animal care that might align with your interests and be more accessible with an arts background.

If you're still keen on veterinary science, you may need to consider taking additional science courses to meet the entry requirements.

Would you like more information about any of these options, or do you have any other questions about potential career paths?
